Description
Le Poulailler is our large studio apartment for two. We can add a cot for couples with a baby or toddler.
You enter Le Poulailler via a private gated patio/courtyard which has a gas Webber BBQ and a patio table and chairs for al fresco dining. As you enter, you will find the kitchen on the left with a cooker, under counter fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. To the right is lounge seating for four plus a dining table and chairs for four.
The gite has a king size bed and a wardrobe and chest of drawers for clothes storage.
There is a 4 piece bathroom - toilet, bath with shower over, bidet and a sink in a fitted unit so more storage if you need it. The water is heated on demand and comes out at mains pressure so showers are great.
In the summer there is a ceiling fan to keep the gite cool and in the winter the gite has gas central heating so you can visit this great area any time of the year.
Le Poulailler shares a 10 m by 5 m swimming pool. For safety, the pool is fenced off from the sun bathing patio. There are over 2 hectares of gardens and fields to explore and for those who like to play games we have a boules pitch, badminton net and giant chess set. We even have a small fishing lake.
If you want a relaxing place to stay or want a base for touring, then this gite is for you. There is so much to see in this area you can come at any time of year and not be bored. Walking, cycling, food and wine, history from cave men to German occupation.......and don't forget the markets!
