A wooden pergola offers partial shade and a small arrangement of garden furniture allows guests to retreat from the rest of the group, if preferred.

The living room area consists of two comfortable sofa beds and a lovely loft-type bedroom with a double bed.

“Beautiful house in quiet, welcoming location”
This holiday gave the best of both worlds. Situated in a small quiet village you get to sample the friendliness of the locals away from the hustle & bustle of the seaside resorts. However get in your car and you can get to the local beach resorts (25mins) & towns easily. Rethymno is 45 mins away, Heraklion 70 mins but once on the National Road they are easy to find. However taking the back roads you get breathtaking views and often get there just as quick! The house is beautiful, well equipped, clean and spacious. The beds were a little hard for our liking but each to their own! The outside space is fantastic and the pool offered hours of fun. The kids in our party ranged from 6-14 and they loved the house & village. Next door to the house is a small Taverna (noise never an issue as used by the local villagers). The welcome at the Taverna was fantastic and the food even better. From start to finish the manager of the house was brilliant. We were met on our arrival, we had the assurance that any problems would be sorted. A problem with the pool (their concern not ours) was sorted overnight so never interfering with the kids fun! As usually happens on our hols, a trip to the local medical centre was needed and the manager gave us the information we needed and even turned up at the hospital which sped up the process greatly. We cannot praise her enough. This holiday/venue would not be the place for those who like to be in the thick of things but if you want a taste of Greek village life, a glorious welcome, peace and quiet but close enough to amenities then this would not disappoint.

“Perfectly Relaxing”
A wonderful villa in a secluded traditional Cretian village. We were looking for a relaxing holiday where we could enjoy the weather, catch up on some reading and slow down the usual hectic pace of life. The villa was wonderful, it has a great pool, plenty of outdoor space, a bbq and wood fired outdoor oven for cooking. There is an upstairs terrace which is perfect for catching the final sunshine of the day whilst enjoy a beer or cocktail. The villa is split into 2 parts, the main part downstairs with a kitchen and small lounge area, a twin bedroom with ensuite and double bedroom with ensuite, each bedroom has direct access to the grounds which would be great for groups. The upstairs has a bathroom, kitchen and lounge and a mezzanine bedroom, with the terrace outside. Valia from houseincrete.gr arranged to meet us and guide us in to the villa (it is a little off the beaten path!) and she was happy to help us with anything we needed from recommending places to eat and shop as well as booking us a table at the local taverna. We can highly recommend staying in the villa and hope to return at some point in the future for another relaxing break.
