Description

This apt. was originally a two bedroom flat with maid's quarters which we then renovated into a comfortable 1-bedroom. It's a nice place. We enjoy a clear view of the Cristo Monument on Corcovado Mountain, as well as views of the Jockey Club and Botanical Gardens, located at a short walking distance from the apt.

All you need is conveniently very close to our place such as the beach, good restaurants for all budgets, many of our famous Brazilian juice bars, good music clubs, as well as movie theatres and shopping malls. Besides our building being on top of a gourmet supermarket, there are a few other great food-shopping options within a radius of a few blocks, and across the street there is an authentic French bakery called "Guerin".

There are a few good gyms around the neighborhood! Directly across the street, there is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu dojo and a Cross-fit Center. There is a nice spa/fitness center right next to the Rio Jockey Club (just a 5 minute walk) called, "Nirvana".

The apartment has one bedroom with a small office and a full bathroom. There is a living-room, dinning room, with a guest 1/2 bathroom. The fully-equipped kitchen has a small area with a washing machine. There is a 57-inch High-Definition flat-screen TV on the wall of the living-room with cable TV and a DVD player, which also plays CDs. Guests will have access to Wi-Fi, using their own devices (cell-phone, tablet, laptop, etc.). There are two silent air-conditioners in the apartment - one covering the dining-room and living-room area and the other for use in the bedroom. The bedroom has excellent curtains which can block out the sun, for those times when one wishes to sleep-in a bit later...plus, all of the windows facing the front of the building are double-paned, for sound-proof comfort.

We have a trustworthy and courteous housekeeper who will stop by once a week in order to clean the premises; changing the bed linen, sweeping, vacuming and moping the floors and doing any other light cleaning chore that is necessary. Her hours are usually 8:00 - 16:00 hrs or 9:00 - 17:00 hrs. If necessary, she may also iron a few pieces of clothing for you.

Our building has a 24hs doorman for your security and comfort. In front of our building there is a green community park which offers bicycles for rent. From there, you may take advantage of the bike paths leading to the beach or the beautiful lagoon (Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas) In our opinion, the nicest way to discover Leblon is by bike!
