“Wonderful Brazil Trip” We stayed at this penthouse for two weeks with a large group of people. We were very excited when we walked in and were able to settle in quickly. It is a lovely space with plenty of room for a large group. We rented both units and they connected on the patio so it was very easy to go back and forth. It's location was ideal for people to easily come and go. We would highly recommend this place to stay and are looking to arrange another trip there next year.

Amazing place - worth every penny!

What an excellent experience! We researched hundreds of places and we are very pleased with our choice. The place is exactly as described and it exceeded our expectations - it was home away from home - worth every penny! It was spacious, very clean and modern, clean cotton sheets and soft towels, hotel quality mattress (a big plus when traveling abroad) and above all else, great water pressure with hot/warm water. Location! Location! Location! We loved the neighborhood, quaint and just one block from the beach. We felt save at all times - the doorman was very friendly and reliable. The icing on the cake was our host Felipe - he is an excellent host/guide/friend just a text message away - always available to answer our questions. He also kept us informed of what was happening in the city: free concerts, places to visit, etc.. He is a wealth of knowledge and his carioca warmth made us feel very special as he went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time. We will with no doubt book his place when we return to Rio. Charming Penthhouse Near Ipanema Beach
This was a beautiful apartment with a great view of Rio and an extraordinarily kind landlord, Francisco.

My wife and I loved this "penthouse" apartment; we spent five days there in April, our first visit to Brazil. The views of Rio from the balcony and rooftop terrace are spectacular. One can truly appreciate Rio's beauty and from this vantage point we were able to see the ocean, the mountains, the sunset, Sugarloaf, the glittering favelas, Christ the Redeemer, and the street scenes of Ipanema below us. The location is excellent--near the beach, across the street from the local supermarket and restaurants, and accessible to both Ipanema and Copacabana. The interior is tastefully decorated, fully functional. We always felt secure, as there is an outdoor locked gate and several interior doors which all required keys. Our landlord Francisco lived directly below us which added to our feeling safe. Francisco was as outstanding as the apartment; He was very friendly and helpful, even when we had to call on him late one night because we had lost our apartment keys! He obviously takes great pride in this apartment and truly cared about us. So we give this place a big thumbs-up! Beach paradise villa in Buzios, Rio de Janeiro
Excellent Escape!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this house along with another couple and it was perfect for what we were looking for our of our Buzios vacation. The house was very well kept and decorated in a very warm & inviting way. We loved being able to walk out the back right onto the beach and also being 10 minutes from the center of all the nightlife & shopping. Seppo the owner was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was very responsive to our questions before, during and even after our stay! I recommend this property if you are looking for a great balance between tranquility and accessibility. Close enough to city center to let loose but far enough to enjoy the comfort of a large space and beachfront sunsets.... Seppo also has a amazing Dalmation dog who won all of us over! THE perfect place

We spent nine days at the Casa Tartaruga . We were looking for the peace and tranquility in an idyllic landscape . La Casa Tartaruga is really the perfect place for it. It is only accessible by boat. The crossing from Paraty only lasts 15 minutes and you can admire the islands of the bay. Those who claim that the Paraty region is visited in 3 or 4 days are mistaken. 9 are not enough. We had a great time at Casa Cairucu – the house is amazing and in an incredible location, the best place we stayed in South America.
