A 4 bedroom Gascogne farmhouse set amidst its own farmland and vineyards - a paradise for children to run wild in. Approached down a long drive, with a private swimming pool, it is the perfect home from home to relax in.
Perfect for families, Gahouaret is very peaceful, but only 10 minutes away from the bustle of food markets, supermarkets and vineyards - so plenty of opportunities for the children to practise their french! A dream for food lovers, with numerous restaurants in which to experience the local produce - foie gras and armagnac.
Come to Gascony, get involved in the weekly village fetes, jazz festival, night markets etc or just take it easy like the locals.

“Wonderful stay in such a beautiful home”
It is a stunning place to stay, situated literally next to the vineyards. The veranda looking out to the pool was magnificent. Was amazing while we stayed with great weather but I imagine would be equally great if it were warm but rainy. Fantastic large pool and with plenty of space around it, you could read or play without being on top of each other. Wonderful to be able to go with another family and both sets of parents able to have a master bedroom with ensuite. Having shared other similar houses with friends and the experience of one couple always getting the master bedroom and one having just another bedroom, this is the first time, I felt neither couple had the short straw. The beds were AMAZING: mattresses better than at home with great linen. It is beautifully furnished and very tastefully decorated. Really felt a treat to be there. The views from the house were stunning and even at night the view was amazing: the shooting stars were incredible. I imagine it would be equally great in the winter, very cosy with the fire. Both parents and kids enjoyed it so much, would highly recommend.
