Description from owner

Description

La Guingette is a traditional stone property located above the small village of La Milliere in a beautiful rural setting. The house has recently been renovated to a high standard and retains many original features. The stonework and the exposed beams add character to the property. The kitchen has a five hob gas cooker, a fan assisted oven and large fridge freezer and an integrated dishwasher. The modern, spacious family bathroom has a walk in shower and a bath. The bedrooms are light and airy and the master bedroom has a small balcony. The property is heated by wood central heating and there is a free standing log burner in the lounge. The downstairs flooring is stone, upstairs is accessed by a stair case which is a little steeper than other staircases. Two of the bedrooms have restricted height on entering due to a low oak beam. There is a patio area at the front of the house with outdoor seating and a BBQ is available on request. Nearby there are local tourist attractions such as the Vallée Des Singes and a local outdoor pool and water park. We are 30 minutes south of Poitiers with Futuroscope being a family favourite. Local bars and restaurants are open all year and there is a bakery and a doctors in Romagne

M. & MME Dempsey.
