Sleeps 6 -10 people. Superbly situated on the South Cornish Coast, this traditional detached charming farm house and garden, with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and 3rd WC , gives you a comfortable and well placed location for your Cornish holiday. It offers flexible accommodation for families or friends ( price reductions also available for groups of 6 or less, using 3 bedrooms ). You can enjoy a relaxing seaside rest, (less than 0.5 mile to a safe swimming beach) and just spend time chilling out at the Old Farm House enjoying the view. Or you can visit the many wonderful attractions in Mid Cornwall including the World famous gardens of the Eden Project and Heligan (both within 10 mins drive). On the door step is Porthpean 'open to all' golf course it offers reduced green fees to guests of the Old Farm House. The charming World Heritage site of Charlestown Harbour with its historic tall Ships and traditional pubs and restaurants is only two coves away along the coastal footpath, so there really is something for everybody.
The Old Farm House is a family house dating from the late eighteenth century. It has been sensitively modernised and restored, with many original features and materials it now offers a blend of tradition, comfort and style, and includes the modern essentials of life like WiFi, central heating and tumble drier.
The large oak floored living/ dining room and conservatory offers a spectacular view of St. Austell Bay and makes this house superb for family meals and celebrations. A door from here onto the generous terrace with Bar B Q and garden make for easy summer living and outdoor dining, also enjoying the same marvellous view.
With a large cosy lounge with (40 inch TV) and 2nd TV room/den there is plenty of space for everyone in your group to find somewhere to relax. Every bedroom enjoys a south facing view over the garden or the coast so no one will feel they have second best. The mature and enclosed garden allows you to relax with young children, whilst taking in the sea air and fantastic view. WiFi included.
The Old Farm House has a house manager who will be happy to answer any questions before or after you have made a booking, as we want to make your holiday as enjoyable as we can.
Please be aware that both bathrooms are upstairs, and guests with impaired mobility may find the stairs difficult to use. Please ask the property manager for more details.

“Fabulous Family House, great view and gardens”
The location is fabulous if your looking for great views of the Sea, walking access to a wonderful beach and a quiet area. Charlestown is nearby and the grandchildren really enjoyed looking at the Tall Ships and the Museum. The House is near to several supermarkets if your looking to cater at home. The surfing beaches on the North coast are within a 30 to 40 minute drive. The house was spacious and had everything needed for cooking and comfortable living (WiFi fine on the ground floor, but does not reach the master bedroom). All in all we really loved this House and had a wonderful weeks holiday; and highly recommend it for families.
