Description

A small complex of four holiday cottages with a heated pool in a rural hamlet, just 30 minutes from the beaches of Royan, St Georges de Didonne and La Palmyre.

We specialise in catering for families and have a superb range of equipment, toys and games for children of all ages. We aim to make holidays easier for parents so they can relax and be at home at La Bigorre.

Surrounded by vines, sunflowers and corn, there's little traffic here, making it a lovely peaceful and safe place to be. Children are well catered for with our fully enclosed and alarmed heated pool, garden swings, table tennis, pool table, table football, boules and DVD library. There are also plenty of books for both children and adults.

Alternatively, you may prefer to walk or cycle along the lanes amongst the vineyards and sunflower fields. We have plenty of bicycles (adult and child size) that you are welcome to borrow.

Farmhouse - 3 bedroom, sleeping 8 - Saturday changeover

Well Cottage - 3 bedroom, sleeping 8 - Saturday changeover

Stables - 2 bedroom, sleeping 6 - Thursday changeover in main season

Grange - 3 bedroom, sleeping 8 - Thursday changeover in main season

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Robert (the owner) a message.

If Robert (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
