Description
Rose, our chambre d'hôte has been designed to cater for both the able and less able guest. It measures 36m2 and includes a bedroom area, sitting room area and large private en-suite bathroom.
The bedroom contains a king size bed and a beautiful cherry wood armoire (wardrobe) with plenty of hanging and shelf space.
The lounge area has a small settee facing onto the television and dvd player.
The en-suite bathroom a large walk in Italian shower which is accessible to wheelchair users (but I'm afraid not motorised wheelchairs), it has a seat and handrail. There is no vanity unit under the sink so the specially designed sink is wheelchair friendly. The WC is also slightly higher than normal and has a handrail to ensure ease of use by all our guests.
The room is heated by the same pompe à chaleur (heat pump) that heats our house. It operates 24/7 keeping the room at the same ambient temperature as our house.
There is a fridge, small kettle, cups and saucers, tea bags and coffee etc in your room.
You will also have full use of the other shared facilites here at Les Gîtes du Vigneron:
• There is a communal laundry with two washing machines, iron and ironing boards
• A library with books for all ages (both English and French), DVDs, in both languages and a selection of games. Tourist leaflets & maps
• Our Salle de Jeux has a table tennis table and table football and other indoor and outdoor games for all ages
• 50m2 enclosed, covered & secure toddlers play area with swing, slide, playhouse, sand pit etc
Swimming pool:
• A heated salt water swimming pool (11mx5m) wrapped around by a large terrace
• Fully fenced with a security gate and a rigid cover
• A large pavilion (7mx4m) to one side giving shade from the sun
• Toilet and baby changing area within one of the poolside cabanes
• A selection of sun loungers and chairs
• WC and shower
In the garden:
• A large swing and slide combination
• 3.5m trampoline

“Very nice room. Tim & Vaness are excellent hosts, who really take the effort to help their guests.”
I am on a bike trip trying to visit farmers. Tim & Vanessa took the effort to invite 4 winegrowers from the village to meet and talk. We had a very nice 'rendez-vous'.
