Description
This medieval solid stone barn in the tiny hamlet of Caunettes-en-Val has been lovingly and expertly converted to a beautiful home with a fusion of rustic and modern styles, with some gorgeous design features and original artworks. Furniture is mainly modern, with some antique features. It is both practical and comfortable. There is constant hot and cold running water which comes from a local spring and tastes delicious.
The inside is normally cool in summer, while it is normally lovely and warm outside.
You can spend your holiday here relaxing in peace and tranquility, on the edge of a tiny hamlet surrounded by vineyards, with the foothills of the Pyrenees nearby. A few tractors and cars may pass by each day, but normally, the only sound you'll hear will be the wide range of birds which fly around.
It is a space that feels good, inside and out. Inside, it is surprisingly comfortably spacious, with an open plan design except for the bathroom. Outside, there is a terrace at the back overlooking the vineyards and mountains where you can eat, drink or just relax.
There are plenty of places to visit and things to do in the area and lots of very rewarding walks in and around the village.
As you would expect, the local food and wine are excellent, both to have at home and to eat out.
*Because of high wrought iron balconies, made by a local artist, this accommodation is not suitable for toddlers or children!*
We request that guests do not smoke inside the house.
You will need the use of a car in this location.

While the hamlet itself feels very remote, located, as it is, in the vineyards of Languedoc, it is, as you say, very convenient for several cities, mountains and beaches.
