Description
The Sugar Maple Lodge is located on 20 wooded acres with trails throughout the property. The lodge is located nine miles north east of Munising at the edge of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Open year round, The Sugar Maple Lodge will easily accommodate up to 20 guests in the three bedrooms on the main level along with one and a half bathrooms along with an extra shower on the lower level for larger groups. There is also a bunk house style sleeping area on the lower level with two log bunk beds, one fold out couch and a queen log bed. Also there is a flat screen tv with Netflix TV and a electric fireplace. The living room has Satellite TV and a DVD player with many dvd's to choose from, comfortable furnishings and patio doors that open to a wrap around deck with a grill and table for your enjoyment. The full kitchen includes microwave, toaster, coffee maker,dishwasher, oven, fridge, dishes, utensils and pots/pans. The lower level also has a laundry room with a washer and coin operated dryer and a stand up shower for the larger groups. The lodge has a very large but very private yard with a fire pit and a picnic table to kick back and relax. Lake Superior is just minutes away from The Sugar Maple Lodge, so book your vacation today!

Response from the owner The dates that you booked were confirmed, I do apologize that you booked the wrong dates for your group and even wrote the dates that you were staying on the check. But there was no way for me to fix your mistake. I always make things right with my guests if there is anything I can do. Being that we did block days out for you (the wrong dates that you booked and put a deposit down for) we had to turn guests away. As you can see this is a very busy time of the year for us and if we didn't have guests in our rental already, we would have let you stay. I understand your frustration but the whole point of a deposit is to cover cost of running the rental if people don't show, or book the wrong dates.
