“Even better than the photos - just beautiful” Stayed a week at Geoffrey's lovely villa with family including our 5 month old daughter. Such a great property, beautiful gardens and wonderful place to stay in a good neighbourhood. Just a 15-20 min walk to Ubud with plenty of great walks and dining options locally. The property is even more beautiful than the photos suggest. Very comfortable lodgings and lush gardens. The staff were very friendly and took great care of us and the property while we were there. All of us felt very fortunate to stay in this fantastic villa - highly recommended!

“Bali bliss!!” I stayed at Villa Dewata with a group of girlfriends and simply had the most wonderful week. The location of the venue was very quiet & private yet still central to all the boutique shops & cafes. The landscape & interiors of the villa were extremely tranquil; each private rooms had plenty of space & was consistently kept very clean & tidy during our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful; they went out of their way to cater for any of our needs. A great holiday!!!

“Bliss in Paradise” I spent four days here and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in an opulent yet homey setting. The swimming pool and large lawn were wonderful fringe benefits, and the wall surrounding the compound made me feel cozy and secure. I give it my highest recommendation.

“Best birthday I could have had” Villa ketumber was exactly as described and the photo were an excellent indication of how this villa is. Travelling with my grown family and a few of their friends there was room for everyone. Nice and close to everything we wanted. Staff were very helpful especially ajan the gardener who went above and beyond many times for us all. We loved tickis the cat even if she can be a little noisy through the night lol . Hadrien was fantastic with his quick responses to any queries we had before coming and showed great compassion for an incident we had while we stayed there. Have stayed in villas many times in Bali and this was my favourite.

“An outstanding villa with fantastic service !” Wow ! Wow ! Wow ! An amazing villa that truly accommodated to the needs of the 12 of us ! The bedrooms are independent villas ( similar to the ones in Datai in Langkawi ) our children stayed in the orange room which had 3 bunk beds & 2 single beds and and when we walked in, you can hear the exclamations of excitement and screams from the children. With the adjoined red room , you get a huge king size bed which my daughter had her blissful nights of sleep. Whilst you rent the accommodation similar to most independent ones, with arsana Estate , you get the option to have their staffs provide meals for you on a daily basis like a full fledged hotel. The meals which were prepared nightly ( we did not even bother to venture out to the restaurants ) to both the children and adults were sooo delicious ( we had Indonesian food most of the times ) you must order the grilled ribs which were to die for, suckling pig was such a treat and the beef rending , gado gado and pomelo salad were favorites of my family. They have a great snooker room, a very impressive TV room, where we had numerous nights watching movies and having pop corns. During the day, other than spending a few hours out in Seminyak shopping or gallery viewing in Ubud ( both about 30-40 mins drive away and the villa can organize a driver who can drive y around should you wish to venture out ) you will find that you would rather return to the calm serenity which arsana offers and just relax , watch the sun set in the elevated pavilion, served by their wonderful staffs , a platter of snacks and champagne . What more can you ask for ... This was a perfect getaway holiday!

“Absolutely Sensational” We came to Bali directly from a holiday in India. The plan was to recover and relax in Seminyak after the mayhem of India. The moment we walked in the doors of Villa Firdaus 100X we knew we had made a good choice. As the week went by we revised that to a perfect choice! Apart from being extremely stylish and a wonderful place to relax, Nick, the owner, has thought of everything, there is nothing more a traveller could want. The sparkling pool, comfortable seating, Wifi, quality bedding, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, yummy coffee, to name a few and an amazing ambience. The location is great, a few minutes to good shopping and countless restaurant choices. Communication was easy with all emails responded to promptly. Overall a sensational experience that we will recommend to our friends and plan to repeat again very soon. .

“Best accommodation of our entire trip” Myself and two friends travelled to Bali late in January, which was the first visit to Indonesia for all of us. Our first stop was Angel Villa and it was the best introduction to Bali we could possibly have asked for. Annie and Rod (as well as being fantastic hosts) are so knowledgeable not only of Balinese culture, but also of the local surrounds, and so for Bali novices like ourselves, we found ourselves saying "We'll ask Annie when we get back" whenever there was something we didn't fully understand, and without fail, they had the answers. Their recommendations were consistently spot on, not only for fantastic local places to eat and drink, but also for shopping destinations like for silver jewelery etc, and the best ways to get around - locally, as well as off to our next destination. We stayed in the Poolside room, which is the larger room of the two on offer, and is lovely and light, with fans and air-con to relieve the humid and hot temperatures. On days we weren't out exploring, the Villa was a fantastic place to relax - we spent a lot of time on the balai or relaxing by the pool, reading, playing cards and/or having a couple of bintangs. The gardens are exquisite and provide a brilliant oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the streets. Given it's a homestay there is a fully equipped kitchen, and while we used it for snacks only, if you were interested in cooking a 'proper' meal you'd find everything you need, and the local supermarket is a 5 min walk away. The location in Mas is great - out of the crazy-ness of Ubud which is a huge plus, but still easy enough to get in to Ubud if and when you want to. Local market is spitting distance away for all things fresh (and is a must visit), as are cheap warungs for delicious local style food, as well as slightly more expensive restaurant style places if you so desire. Great bar called Dstar which has live music a few times a week is also easy walking distance away. Oh, and did I mention the pool?!?! As hosts Annie and Rod are very respectful - there when you need them, but at the same time it really felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time. There is no curfew, and we all felt very comfortable to come and go as we pleased. And I know it' might seem like a small thing, but over our couple of weeks in both Bali and on the Gili Islands, Angel Villa had by far the absolute best water pressure of all our accommodation choices! Loved staying here, would return without hesitation.

“Bali tranquility at its best:)” Easy Check In - Wayan picked me up from airport - super efficient and helpful. Owners- Benjamin and Made went out of there way to help me and made my stay an enjoyable one. Villa - fantastic pool - must only be 6 months old, well maintained garden. Fantastic interior designed villa, felt very luxurious with double bed, air con, awesome bathroom and living area. I would highly recommend this villa!

“Tranquil relaxing paradise awaits you” You are welcomed to Bali with a smile and sign Villa Samsara at the airport then wisked away to this tranquil haven. Then you are greeted by EKa what can we say. Eka has made this trip a delight with a friendly smile breakfast every day and all the chores done wow love this. Get Eka to make you dinner amazing. The villa has everything you need down to the finest detail and after a long day in the hustle and bustle you can then relax by the 16 m pool and gardens with a G & T in hand. Location is great amongst the rice paddies and the beach 1km walk away. This is a surf beach but easy beach walk to Seminyak. Canggu deli and 3 restaurants at your door step. “A relaxing authentic Balinese experience” Sumara House is an absolutely delightful authentic villa surrounded by beautiful gardens. If you like space and privacy this villa is ideal. It is also very conveniently located within close proximity to restaurants, spas and galleries and the staff are fantastic. Central Ubud is either a 20 minute walk or a $5.00 taxi ride.

“Rich cultural Bali experience, in comfort and authentic luxury.” Villa alamanda, sitting on the fringe of Ubud town center, indulged us with the culture and traditions of authentic Bali. Located within the local woodcarvers village of Tengkulak we were provided with bountiful scenery and experienced true Balinese daily life. The unique, yet ethnic thatched Villa was tastfully laid out. In minamalistic tones, decorated tastefully with local art, the compound integrates itself within the beauty of nature. We were certainly indulged by all of our senses and by the incredible staff. Highly recocommend.

“Clean, comfortable and good value” We stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. It is roomy, clean and full of character. You walk straight from the lounge/kitchen area into the plunge pool - perfect for cooling off quickly and for keeping an eye on the kids in the pool while you sit and relax. Nyoman is charming and friendly and came in every morning to clean and to help us sort out our transport arrangements. There was a generous bowl of fresh fruit for us when we arrived. It's about a 10-15 min walk to the heart of Seminyak and a 10-min walk to the beach, but there's a really good cafe at the end of the street, just one minute away, and also a really good warung near to that on the way to the beach. We had our best (and most authentic) meals in Bali at this warung (called Balina Warung). Depending on the age of your children it's useful to be aware that they are not actually under the same roof as you at night - the master bedroom is upstairs and on the opposite side of the pool to the smaller bedrooms. This was not a problem for us (our children are 7 and 10) but might cause worry for parents of younger children who might cry out in the night or try to walk to the parents' bedroom past the pool. We slept beautifully under mozzie nets in the airconditioned bedrooms, but kitchen/lounge area could have been set up a litle better to counter the mozzies and the heat (there was a fan that sat on the floor but it didn't oscillate and we had to go out a buy a lighter to light to mozzie coils on the first night.) It's also hard to find from the name - you actually need to tell your taxi driver to take you to Villa Kresna, which is the name of the other villas in the street. Overall though this villa was great - the kitchen and bedrooms are really well set up, the pool is lovely and the staff are charming. Very good value for the price. We would certainly go back.
