Failte gu Taigh Chorodail. Welcome to Corrodale Cottage 5 star luxury self catering accommodation set in outstanding natural beauty of South Uist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, which has been meticulously renovated. The cottage is a category B listed building preserving its traditional characteristics including a turf and marram grass thatch roof which is unique to the hebrides, but hides all modern facilities including fibre optic wi:fi, spa bath, i-pod dock, four poster bed and peat burning stove. Our Outer Hebrides accommodation is environmentally sustainable and has been completed to the highest standards making it the perfect setting for you Outer Hebrides holiday.

The scenery is wonderful - the sugary white sands, the turquoise blue water, rugged mountains on South Uist, the lonely peat moors and dark blue lochs everywhere.

A complimentary hebridean welcome hamper is included with all bookings.

Getting around

The cottage is surrounded by a profusion of wildlife, the rasping call of the elusive corncrake can be heard from the doorstep from April onwards. The Golden eagle, cornbunting, short eared owls, hen harriers, seals and otters as well as a wide variety of native species can be seen here in one of the worlds most pristine environments. It is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy the peaceful and scenic surroundings in this wonderful archipelago. Whether it is a romantic getaway or a Hebridean adventure that is desired our Uist Holiday Cottage has something to offer everyone for their self catering Outer Hebrides Holiday
