Response from the manager We are delighted that you had such a great time at our villa. The staff are so pleased to hear you enjoyed their food and them looking after you. Thanks for writing to us, we also like it when our guests take the time to give feedback. Regarding the Mosquito's, this is a constant battle here in the tropics, the entire estate is fogged regularly, and so too is the villa. We do provide insect repellent in all rooms, and each evening the staff light coils and close doors. Sometimes the doors are left open or not closed before dusk. We will ensure doors are closed at dusk. This is a hillside villa, yet it is the only one that has a view plus is a manageable incline and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The view is therefore nice but not stunning, you can see the tops of the buildings in Surin and the beach you can see is Bang Tao bay. Being a hillside villa, and like the 90% of these in Phuket, there is an infinity edge, you can see this in the photos. We also do warn people in all infinity edged villas that they should watch out for pool toys and in particular children should never be left unattended. Regarding the taxi and transport arrangements in Phuket. We do not control the pricing of this, prices in Phuket are per journey and multiple journeys will add up. The price the manager advised was for a full day rate, this means a guest can go anyway, including multiple back and forth journeys. We have instructed the manager to be clearer on this for our future guests. Once again, we thank you for your feedback, the nature of villas like these means there are infinity edged pools to showoff the views and Mosquito's are a normal feature in the tropics. We will however take all the points on-board and ensure future guests are aware before arrival.
