Description
Venitcinque is a traditionally restored village house with a stunning view looking east and on the other side of the valley can be seen the village of Montefegatesi.
On the top floor, the main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds. The house is entered from the middle floor and there is a hall lounge and the toilet and shower rooms. In the former cantina (cellar) we have the dining room and fully equipped kitchen complete with dishwasher and marble worktop.
Outside there is a small terrace where you can enjoy the Tuscan sunshine until the mid afternoon, when the shade allows you to cool off a little towards the evening. There are chairs and a table for al fresco dining. Being situated at a height of over 500 metres above sea level, the village does cool off nicely in the summer evenings.
There is a new gas central heating system allowing the house to be used all year round and it would make an excellent base for those wishing to go skiing at Abetone, which is 53km by car, although it is not far at all as the crow flies!
Parking is available in the village car park (no charge), this being about 3 minutes' walk from the house. It is, however, possible to get a small car almost up to the front door, but there are some very tight corners to negotiate.

“Breathtaking”
Tereglio is such a gem, that I almost feel reluctant to tell other people about it. The accommodation was probably the best we have experienced both abroad and in the UK. The view was amazing even when there was a thunderstorm to see all the clouds gradually clearing up the valley.

“Breathtaking views”
Could have stared at the view from the patio down the valley all day. Beautiful house, picture perfect village with shop and taverna, and acres of enchanting wooded mountains all to ourselves. Going in April we had the pleasure of sun on the terrace in the day and a cosy log fire at night. Everything we needed was there including a cookery book.
