Description
Welcome to Killadangan House, a beautifully restored period house overlooking Clew Bay on the outskirts of Westport Town. We offer exclusive self catering rentals from 2 nights upwards to groups and families who want the convenience of Westport town but also the privacy, comfort and luxury of a grand country house.
This is a wonderful house in which to spend time with family and friends exploring all that Westport and the Wild Atlantic Way has to offer.
Killadangan House is an elegant Victorian property built in the Georgian style offering oodles of history and has benefitted from meticulous and tasteful refurbishment over the last 5 years by its present owner. In keeping with the period and style of the house all rooms are customised with original fireplaces, furniture, paintings and carpets.
Accommodation: granite steps lead up to the entrance level where we have a gracious reception hall, an elegant drawing room and dining room divided by original folding doors, magnificent views over Clew Bay, fully equipped kitchen, smaller dining room, and a cosy parlour with a wood burning stove. On the return level we have a double bedroom (The Connaught), shower room and a further w.c. On the ground floor we have three twin bedrooms, (The Leinster, The Munster and The Garden Room), another double bedroom (The Ulster), a shower room and another w.c. There is also The Old Kitchen, with its original fireplace. This is a wonderful room for tv and family board games (Netflix & local stations). We also have a superb sauna house with additional shower. Robes and slippers are provided to use at the sauna.
Outside we have mature wild gardens surrounding the house. The house is accessed via electric gates and there is ample secure parking available.

If Rachel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
