Description
Centrally located between Akumal Bay Beach and Half Moon Bay Beach, Casa del Mar by Akumal Direct is a comfortable three-bedroom, three-bath home accommodating seven people. Daily professional cleaning six days per week is included. For larger groups of up to 10, we recommend reserving Casa del Mar and Nicte Ha (located next door) together. Special rental rates may apply when both houses are rented together.
Casa del Mar's main living area, with a view of the Caribbean, features A/C, a full kitchen, living and dining area with Smart TV for Netflix, SAT, and WIFI. The master bedroom is on the upper level with a king bed, en suite bath, and air conditioning. The spacious room has a lovely ocean-side terrace with a hammock and patio furniture.
Also on the upper level is a smaller garden-facing bedroom with air conditioning perfect for children. This bedroom is furnished with one single and one double bed. There is a large private bath with a shower and a security safe. The lower king bedroom has a door leading to the garden-side pool deck. There you will find sun loungers for you to enjoy, a patio table for dining, and a charcoal grill. The lower bedroom bath is shared with the living area. This home has AC in the bedrooms only. The main living area catches a fabulous sea breeze.

Response from the manager We are so sorry to hear that your vacation did not go as expected. We received your first email of complaint 2 days after you had departed, and although we were not given the opportunity to address your issues while you were here, we immediately investigated your problems. As you mentioned, we experienced unseasonably heavy rains during your stay, with weather fronts blowing in at speed right off the ocean. The property manager and the maid informed us that every day they did their best to clean up any rain that was being forced by the wind through the ocean side terrace door runners on the lower floor. They also left additional towels each day should you need them. The Casa del Mar team works diligently to help guests have the best vacation ever. On this occasion, severe weather conditions hindered the staff's best efforts, and for that we sincerely apologize. Akumal Direct Reservations represents a wide range of properties, and had we know during your stay that you were having problems, we would have offered you alternative accommodations to choose from. Thank you for staying with us. We hope that you will return to Akumal, and we hope that the sun will shine for you on your next trip. :)
