Nestled away on the shores of the stunning Yalku Lagoon (1 mile north of Akumal), is the 6000 square foot villa Luna Encantada. This is an amazing villa with lots of space for family and friends. The villa is perfect for vacations, entertaining, weddings, events, yoga workshops and corporate retreats!

Villa Laguna Encantada has its own roof top deck with Pergola, here you have amazing views of the Yalku Lagoon and tranquil jungle! At night you can relax and stargazeÉits magic!

Entering the contemporary "zen" style vil...la decorated in creams and whites, with natural stone and wood you are greeted by the expansive open plan living area with huge sofa, just off this area is a den with flat screen TV and Stereo...perfect for catching a movie! The indoor dining area has seating for 12 guests and the gourmet fully equipped kitchen with top of the range appliances will please the most discerning chefs.

The glass hall way with tropical garden views leads to the 4 air conditioned bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms with ornate sinks with high quality fittings and stone features. The master suite has a king bed, couch for reading and ensuite bath with both indoor and outdoor shower tub. The guest suite has 2 queen beds and couch for reading and superb bathroom with an indoor shower and large indoor bath tub. The second guest suite has 6 singles and 2 queen beds (4 of these beds are loft style)...children will love this room! The 4th suite has 2 queen beds; the bathroom has an indoor shower and outdoor shower tub. All the rooms are huge with ample closet space.

Outdoors the enormous outdoor palapa has dining alfresco for 12. This area is perfect for entertaining! There is a flat screen TV, relax with your favorite drink and a movie or sporting event. The large swimming pool (30 x11 foot) is just wonderful, relax poolside on chaises embracing the tranquil Caribbean atmosphere. There is a BBQ grill for cooking up outdoors! From the beautiful garden surrounded by beautiful tropical plants you have a boardwalk to your own private pontoon with direct access into the amazing Yalku Lagoon, here you have fantastic snorkeling and swimming, you will see many colorful fishes, turtles and more.

We are sure you will have the most fantastic vacation here at Laguna Encantada, it's so relaxing, comfortable and spacious and lots of fun entertaining! Close by you have Akumal (1 mile away) with many restaurants, bars, dive stores, fishing, the beautiful Akumal Bay, along the coast you have beautiful beaches, the ruins of Tulum, Coba and Chichen Itza, eco parks Xcaret, Xel Ha, Xplor, the Sian Kaan Biosphere, beautiful cenotes, world class scuba diving and cave diving.   The house is absolutely beautiful. The glass wall slides away to the palapa and pool and it was so relaxing whether sitting inside or out. The location really is perfect, we would start out by walking to the lagoon every morning and snorkelling. Tulum beaches are fantastic and the parks Xel Ha, Hidden worlds are down the road. Luz and Rosenburg were wonderful caretakers. The dinners they cooked were great, they sang beautfully, made a cake for my mum's 70th birthday and kept the place in order so we could just relax. Would love to go back again. Thansk to everyone, Laura, Marina, Rhett, the team, for making the vacation stress free.

  Gorgeous villa to stay & host a Wedding event!!

  My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting one of our wedding events in the expansive outdoor palapa of this stunning villa, and till date our guests don't stop talking about it. We held our Welcome Party here and absolutely loved it!! The very different jungle setting we thought is perfect for a secluded vacation! It comes with its own private walkway to a private pontoon that leads to one of the most gorgeous lagoons in the area. We actually went snorkeling with our families in that lagoon, saw some colorful and pretty fish, and thought, how perfect it would be to be staying right here at this villa! The rooms are all large and beautiful & the layout was so open, perfect for a wedding event! The palapa was a big lounge area, and opened out into the pool and gardens, with the large kitchen & dining room attached to one side. Dinner was spread there, while our guests lounged around, and danced by pretty lights at the pool side. This villa also has the awesome roof deck, where we watched the beautiful sunset while sipping on cocktails with our guests. The panoramic views of the jungle and lagoon from the rooftop are unmatched! We found the villa also very conveniently located, just a short drive to all the fun night life & shopping at Playa Del Carmen and another short drive to the fabulous Tulum beach ruins. The maids did a great job with cooking dinner for all our guests and helping our head chef antonio with the menu. We are thankful to the owners (Rick & Sandy Spell), management (Marina of Riviera Maya Haciendas, as well as Eddie) and all the maids & chefs like Mariana who helped us make our wedding Welcome Party such a huge success! We highly recommend this villa to host your wedding party too and even have your reception. Heck, we liked it so much, we would also love to stay there on our next trip to Mexico!
