Description

Your Temporary base camp here in Alaska. This cute, private, daylight basement garden apartment with several full size windows, has all you will need to make yourself at home while your here. It is downstairs in a private home with "The Host" living in the other apartment upstairs.

Artistically decorated with The hosts award winning photography, Local art and fun, comfortable furniture.

Complete with linens, smart TV/VCR, and full kitchen set up with coffee, instant oatmeal and some bagels in the freezer. There is even a washer and dryer available for long term guests. Just open up that suitcase and have yourself a hot Cup of Tea, or enjoy your own fresh local beer, poured into a chilled pint Glass from the freezer.

The "Oh! so comfortable", Queen size bed is just waiting to give you, "The Traveler" that much needed rest, during your Alaskan adventure.

And There are no hidden fees.

Getting around

Most folks rent a car but if you are only here for a few days you can easily walk to downtown or grab one of the free shuttles to the zoo or botanical gardens. There are also plenty of day tour coaches. If you are catching the train, or cruise, we are just a 7 minute cab ride to either.

Interaction with guest

I am here 90% of the time to check you in and give you the 5 minute dime tour. Otherwise you have your privacy. Should you need anything or want some travel advise I am upstairs just a text away.

There is a backyard for your enjoyment with a BBQ's. I do not allow parties.
The home has newer carpeting and is a leave your shoes at the door home.

How do damage deposits work?

If Lisa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
