We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Terra Cottage Inn. The space was perfect for our family of four with two young children. The beds were comfy for everyone. The whole apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with original artwork. All the extra touches made it feel especially unique and special. We loved eating off of Elizabeth's beautiful pottery, and looking at Mark's lovely paintings and drawings, as well as visiting each of the studios and the Koi pond in the garden. Plus, it is walking distance to an excellent playground, Lithia Park, and the Plaza. Great location! We are already planning our next visit.

We were visiting ashland to attend the OSF. The Terra Cottage Inn is a comfortable walking distance to downtown ashland and the festival. The Inn is a beautifully appointed and comfortable intimate two-bedroom, shared bath unit, with a well-equipped kitchen. The unit and gardens are beautiful and the hosts are welcoming and friendly. It's like a home away from home.

Our group of three spent two nights at the Terra Cottage Inn. It's a charming location adjacent to the owners' home as well as their other vacation cottage. Elizabeth is friendly and helpful. The cottage itself is clean and comfortable, includes a kitchen and stacks of books & magazines. Guests are also welcome to use the outdoor kitchen & dining area and laundry facilities - and you can even pick fresh herbs & greens to add to your dinner. Plus it's within walking distance of OSF and downtown. We enthusiastically recommend it!

We just returned from our annual trip to ashland, mainly for OSF. After previously staying in B&B;'s we chose to find a rental house for this week. I did a bunch of research and what struck us about the Terra Cottage Inn was the outdoor kitchen. Since my wife I like to cook, we though this would be the place. I will say this is one place where the pictures do not do the property justice.
First, the outdoor kitchen: it is the best! The grill, the stove, the sink, the refrigerator, the incredible clay pottery that one of the proprietors (Elizabeth) and the table and benches that the other proprietor (Mark) made make it a perfect spot. We took advantage of this spot to have several dinners and with the lounge chairs, it is perfect for morning coffee.It should be noted that the Terra Cottage Inn is part of a beautiful property that includes one other rental house and the owners house. Besides the outdoor kitchen, there is a Koi pond, a garden (from which you can pick anything from), a hammock, and outdoor shower (if you want to use it) and Elizabeth's Pottery Studio and Mark's art Studios. The have decorated the whole property with great lights and artistic touches everywhere.
Terra Cottage Inn is in it's own building up a flight stairs(nothing but storage down below). It is not large, but perfect for a vacation rental. During our visit the temps in ashland were above 100 degrees, but the air conditioning kept is nice and cool.
The kitchen is well stocked and the living room furniture is very comfortable.The linens in the bedroom are great and the queen bed is comfortable. They also provide great bathrobes!
There is a second bedroom with two twin beds (which we didn't need to use).
Bathroom has good water pressure and they provided almost everything you could need (shampoo, soap. lotion etc...).
The inside space is not huge, but very comfortable, when you add in all the magical outdoor areas this is an a+ space and we will be back every year.

Terra Cottage Inn is a beautiful apartment accomodation that perfectly fit the needs of our family of four's visit to our favorite theatre town. The property proved to be immaculately clean with a wonderful outdoor space in a lovely quiet neighbourhood a few blocks away from the OSF and downtown area. The personal touches supplied by the owners, show an amazing attentiveness to detail that made our week long stay a joy.

We spent 2 nights in Terra Cottage Inn. It is in its own building in an upstairs apartment. The owner's garage is underneath. The property also has a separate cottage called High Street Cottage. Either cottage would be good to stay in with children because they are private with their own entrance. I can't say enough about our stay here. It was just superlative and so comfortable. The owners, Mark and Elizabeth, had thought of every little detail (spices in the kitchen, books to read, Dvds to play, extra chairs in the closet, for example. We even found a lovely picnic basket on a shelf with all picnic utensils included. When I mentioned this to Elizabeth, she said that that would be something she'd want if she stayed somewhere. "You don't want to go out and buy paper plates etc," she said. How true! Elizabeth is an artist who makes her own pottery and all the dinnerware is made by her. She has an artist studio where she makes her pottery and a separate room with displays to purchase. Mark is a high school art teacher and has made all the outdoor furniture. On the day before we left, he rolled out a beautiful handmade picnic table (I wish I had taken a photograph of it!) and we had an outdoor breakfast on our last day. The outdoor picnic area comes complete with stove, sink, dishwasher, grill, dinnerware. You name it and it's there, spic and span. The people who were staying in High Street Cottage told us they had made a grilled salmon dinner outdoors the night before. There is free WiFi internet with an excellent connection. If you feel the need to do laundry, there is a separate laundry room with all that you need. We loved the garden, it has different private areas with a hammock, lounge chairs, and best of all, a pond with koi fish. Elizabeth and Mark have little garden beds with herbs, strawberries, and some fruit trees as well. Guests are invited to pick anything they need for their cooking/eating. Both Elizabeth and Mark are wonderful hosts, leaving you alone, but they are right there if you have questions about where to go for dinner, a checking out the area. It was our first time at this Inn, our daughter and husband have stayed here several times. I couldn't recommend it more highly!!

This spotlessly clean cottage is better equipped than my home! Two couples stayed here for 4 nights. The outdoor living area adds a wonderful dimension to Vrbo not offered elsewhere. Mark & Elizabeth are the most gracious owners/hosts and make you feel right at home. We loved the attention to artistic detail throughout the property. The cottage is walking distance to downtown, theater, restaurants, watershed trails, etc.
