Description
Gorgeous Lakeside property with private garden, hot tub and patio set overlooking the lake and 12th green.
3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Sleeps 6 and the beds can be made as either 6 x singles or 3 x double beds.
For the overseas visitor Bedfordshire is an ideal central location with London just a 40 minute train journey from Bedford station. Cambridge is just a 30 minute drive away and major road such as the A1, M1, A421 and A14 all within an easy reach.
The cottages are beautifully set overlooking the lakes of the 12th green and within an easy walk of the clubhouse if you decide you don't want to cook.
The use of the Par 3 is free to the residents of our self-catering cottages and reduced green fees are available for our main 18 hole golf course. Day fishing tickets can also be purchased, with the residents of the cottage having exclusive fishing in front of their cottage, just perfect to nip in for a cup of tea or a nice cold beer from the fridge.
You will be made to feel very welcome at our family run golf course with the care that a big company is unable to match.

“Relaxing break after a hectic year.”
Booked our break in Clive's Cottage following a hectic year for my family of 4 including 2 nurses and a student nurse in need of rest and relaxation. Colmworth was the perfect place for us. Only a couple of hours drive away from home in quiet countryside but close to Bedford and Cambridge where my other daughter is hoping to study next year. Found a lovely park on the way into Bedford for our dog to run and chase balls. Cottage clean and comfortable. Lovely views from the back of the house. Not being golfers we were amazed at how popular a pastime is. Very helpful staff who came to our rescue when we were due to return home and found our car to have a flat battery. Greatly appreciated as our breakdown company wouldn't return for 28 days to the same problem on the car. Would highly recommend a stay - try the golf club coffee shop. Food fabulous.

“Fabulous cottage in beautiful relaxing surroundings”
Wonderful chill week - spacious cottage with everything you need plus bonus of a hot tub! Peaceful surroundings with golf on the door step if you like to play. Julie and her team left us to our own devices, but were there with help and advice on local attractions, walks, amenities when we needed it. Club house cafe is amazing!

“Just what we wanted”

“Delightful and relaxing”
We stayed 16 nights and enjoyed it immensely. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, immediately responding to any requests. We had a large family lunch one day and asked for more chairs. The next thing we knew an extra barbeque table and six chairs appeared. A little fenced garden made it child safe. The golf course was excellent and we were able to borrow clubs. There is a good coffee shop on site and a top class pub nearby for meals. We loved the countryside. The house was very clean and the bedrooms spacious. We found the fridge a bit small as there were no fittings inside the door, but this did not mar our stay. We would certainly go there again.
