“Roomy, bright and cozy cabin in a beautiful setting - perfect ge” We had a really fun and relaxing few days at this cabin - it's minutes away from cute shops and great restaurants. Inside it has cozy furnishings, a washer/dryer and everything you could need in the kitchen. We kept a big fire going most of the time - especially when watching movies on the big screen tv! Outside, there's a big back deck, perfect for outdoor activities and barbeques. The yard right behind the deck is a great sledding hill and an there's a small alpine slide close by, not to mention the Bear Mountain slopes! Would recommend it for families, or for a quiet relaxing getaway.

“Paridise In Big Bear” My husband and I went to the Chalet with our 2 dogs and had a great time. Kiyoe was very welcoming. The place was very clean and homey. Our dogs loved the trails right outside the back door. What we enjoyed the most was the privacy and how quiet the area was. We definitely will go back! Thank you for having us... “Amazing! Didn't want to leave!” This cabin is everything we wanted and more! Great location (just a few minute drive to snowboarding/dining) and none of that cheesy typical cabin feel with plaid and bears everywhere. It was decorated nicely and felt very homey. There are 2 bedrooms downstairs with a jack-and-jill bathroom. There was a kitchen, living room and another full bath upstairs. The living room was a great place to relax after a long day of boarding and we enjoyed the convenience of the kitchen (stocked with plates, utensils, mugs, paper towels). I highly recommend! OH, also, the owner was great! I booked last minute (Friday night) and Jeff responded right away and I got it booked for that weekend. I really appreciate the responsiveness and would love to stay here again if I'm in the area.

“Great cabin” I have stayed at East of Paradise with my family for the past three years and we absolutely love it. It's become our home away from home. The cabin is not big, but it is very well maintained and the set up is perfect for small families like mine. We used to stay at hotels before but nothing compares to keeping everyone all under the same roof and be able to cook homemade meals. My daughter loves to play in the backyard, particularly in the play house. My husband and I love relaxing in the hot tub out back. The beds here are both queen. I have back problems but I always sleep confortably in both of these beds. I do wish the homeowner would offer inflatable beds, or sofa beds for the little ones. The kitchen has all the utensils we need to cook meals. My husband and I love cooking and we always take the opportunity here to make a delicious meal whenever we go. We have everything we need there. The cabin is far away enough from the downtown area and all the traffic, but close enough to get to the stores, and the playgrounds within a few minutes. We highly recommend this cabin.

“Adorable and convenient!” Our family (two adults, 9 year old, and dog) stayed at the Quonset Lodge on a whim in late July and found it charming, clean, comfortable, and convenient to everything in Big Bear. The fenced in yard was great for our dog, and the kitchen was really well-stocked. The outdoor area is very cute and well-maintained. Overall we loved the Quonset Lodge and hope to return!

“Fab place to stay for special family times!” The cabin was everything we could have wished for! We lived the location, so handy for all attractions. The hot tub was a definite favourite! Everything that could possibly be needed was provided. Definitely home from home!

“Weekend” This was a nice clean cozy place!! The cabin exceeded our expectations. The deck was super nice and the trees around the cabin where so nice. It was easy to get to and minimum number of stairs to the front door. The barbeque worked great. I would stay there again. The windows to the master bedroom where awesome too,

“It's a very cozy and nice place. Owner is very responsible and r” My friends and I stayed at Kristina's place for a nice summer weekend getaway! The cabin was very clean and perfect for the five of us! Bedrooms provide privacy and the yard outside is very nice for hanging out! We rode bikes, played frisbee and enjoyed the picnic table while grilling. Kristina even has an extensive DVD collection to watch. Bathroom was remodeled and very nice. This cabin is a great place for friends and family to gather while in Big Bear! The lake is a very simple bike ride away. The house was close enough to town and easy to get to. We would definately come back again :)

“Wonderful cozy getaway” My husband and I spent a week at Big Bear Lake to go fishing and boating. The cabin had everything we could need - fenced yard for our dog, washer and dryer, cable and WiFi! It snowed one night, so having the yard for our dog was really a plus. Our location was central to The Village and two fishing marinas. The Cool Cabin crew works 24/7, so if you need anything, they are right there. Only downside was the bed size was smaller than we are used to and a bit too soft. Other than that, it was great!

“We had a great time” We enjoyed our stay. The house was the perfect size for my family of 5. My girls loved playing in the big yard. We decided to bring our dog with us next time. It was very peaceful sitting on the back deck at night roasting marshmallows and playing games. If I had to pick 1 or 2 things to say I didn't like, which is hardly anything. It would be, on the upper deck, way too many spider webs that you can't sit out there & the bunk beds in the second room are way too close to each other. If you're clostraphobic, you can't use the bottom bunk. Other than that, everything was great.

The only downfall I would say is the staircase to the upper floor which was dangerously narrow and had 'short' steps, good for kids to go up and down, but not the older folks. “Cheers to 3 Years!” When we arrived to the house it was very clean, it had brand a new sponge and paper towels ready for us. There were detailed instructions and all the basics we needed for the weekend. It was the perfect get away for me and my boyfriend and our two fluffy puppies. It was close enough to everything so it wasn't much of a drive to get things from the grocery store, but still far enough to have peace and quiet. I would definitely come back to stay at this humble little abode. There are plenty of places to go hiking as well as fun places to go eat. I recommend the Cowboy Steakhouse! It's not far from the house and it has the "Worlds Tiniest Sunday"! How can you say no to that!

“Everything was perfect!” The cabin was cute, has a home feel to it. And had enough space for all 5 of us. The top loft was great the kids loved going up and down the stairs. The snow summit is close by. Although u do have to drive, it's a very short drive.

“GREAT CABIN TO STAY AT!!!” We had a great time at cabin with my family. The only complaint is that the cabin wasn't clean when we check in at 4pm I had to call for them to come and clean the cabin and bed not made and food left in the refrigerator from the last family that stayed there. That"s the only reason for the 4 star review. Cabin was very cozy and a great view and very close to everything in town. Pet friendly too my English bulldog Jasper had a great time in the snow. I would Definitely come back to stay again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

“Excellent real mountain cabin” Excellent cool cabins service. They were there to answer all of our questions. Excellent real mountain cabin. The cabin is so pretty inside that when you get there it will exceed your expectative you have from photos on the web site. There are just 3 very small issues that need to be attended. This issues did not affect our stay in the cabin at all. This is just a heads up for the owner and cool cabins. 1.- There is a water leak at the garage where the pool-table, this leak appears to be from the bathroom on the second floor. Pool table and game is not affected by this issue but I think the ceiling may one day suffer really bad damage. 2.- There is a broken lamp in the ceiling on the living room. 3.- The noise from the heater is a little bit disturbing. As I said this are very small issues that need to be repair but they did not made our stay unpleasant at all. We love the living room it is big enough for all the family. Location is great, just in front of all supermarket and 3 min drive to ski mountain. When we return we will try to get this one again.

“Cozy and quiet” First off, i want to start by praising big bear cool cabins... Above and beyond in customer service. They allowed us to change our reservation due to a family emergency and were very accommodating. Easy check in and check out. Will use them again. Second, cornerstone cabin was awesome. So many nice things to say, off the beaten path, walk to the golf course, minutes to the grocery, and to the lake and slopes. Will stay here again. Would only criticize a few things. A new grill would be nice. The hot tub is not very private, as it is right on the road. Even a small privacy fence on the side would work. One of the chairs was pretty dirty too. But none of these things were a deal breaker.
