Super cute, furnished cottage on the point. 2 bedroom, 1 bath, kitchen, sunroom, covered back patio. Renovated bathroom, hardwood floors, fenced yard.
Come relax and enjoy a sunset walk around the point. Nestled on a quiet street two blocks from the Potomac River and two blocks from Monroe Bay. This is a great location for boating, kayaking, fishing, or just relaxing on the beach. This cottage is just 6 blocks to the free public boat ramp, public beach and park. Everything in the town is accessible by walking, bicycle or golf cart. The public library, boardwalk, town pier, antique shops, coffee shop, grocery, and boat charters are close by. Colonial Beach has many friendly shops and restaurants for the whole family to enjoy. The Town offers many events throughout the year such as the Annual Potomac River Festival Parade, Fireworks displays, Rock fish tournament, Art and Craft Show, Jet Ski Races and the annual Tri-athalon.
Colonial Beach bordered by the Potomac River and Monroe Bay. Is located about 65 miles from Washington DC, 75 miles from Richmond VA, and 35 Miles from Fredericksburg, VA. While here you can visit the birthplace place of President George Washington and boyhood home of General Robert E. Lee. Stop by the Westmoreland Berry Farm for some fresh fruit or enjoy some local wine from Igleside Winery.

“Fair”
The window unit doesn't cool the whole house. The towels were very old. I Would throw them out. There was an ugly fold up cot against The living room wall. Too hot, we were uncomfortable

Response from the owner The cleaning crew noted the inside air temperature as cold (62 degrees) when they went in to clean the house. I am sorry this is not a comfortable range for you and all your guests. As stated in the description this house sits 3 comfortably. The towels were not old. I replace old ones with new ones every season. Folding beds are ugly. Nothing you can do there. The house has a twin day bed and one queen bed. It is not meant for a bunch of people. I don't advertise the fold out bed. lt is just there as an extra if someone brings a grandchild or something like that. It does have a upgraded memory foam mattress that was purchased last season. You signed up and paid for 2 people but had more than that stay. At one point there were 4 cars and a golf cart. Maybe if you had been more forthcoming on the number of people you were planning to have stay, we could have advised you look elsewhere.
