An impressive detached house in a tiny hamlet less than a mile from Coniston, sleeping 10 people in four bedrooms.A wonderful modern and stylish base for families or friends, this detached property is less than a mile from the popular village of Coniston, in the Lake District National Park. This lovely property is set over three floors, and includes a spacious living room with a woodburner, beams and a vaulted ceiling. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, and gas underfloor heating throughout. The bedrooms are attractive and luxurious; there is a king-size double with en-suite whirlpool bath and a dressing room on the ground floor, there is also a twin and a double on the lower ground floor, and a first floor double with an en-suite. Outside, the two-tier garden has furniture and is next to a small beck, with dry-stone walls are built by local craftsmen. With Coniston Lake on the doorstep, and the fabulous walking and climbing of the National Park surrounding you, this is a supremely welcoming Lake District vacation rental.

Spacious two-tier garden with BBQ, decking & furniture. Sorry, no pets, no smoking, no stag/hen parties & no under 21s. Shop 8 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk.

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: Coniston is a lovely village set at the tip of Lake Coniston, in the midst of spectacular mountain scenery, in the Lake District National Park. Coniston has a number of amenities, and is the ideal base for a variety of outdoor pursuits. There is superb walking and climbing on Coniston Old Man, and watersports enthusiasts will enjoy dinghy sailing, canoeing or simply sitting back and relaxing on the steam gondola which crosses the lake. The attractions of the lakes are on the doorstep, including Hawkshead, the Beatrix Potter Gallery, Ambleside and Windermere.
