Amazing relaxing place, every detail thought of!

Left on 04/16/2013 for a stay in April 2013

We were lucky enough to have found this place for my mums 60th, we consisted of 2 families with children and a grandmother. Every detail had been thought of the accomodation was luxury, so comfortable. The place was beautifuly quiet, surrounded by great countryside. we could walk our dog from the door and there was a lovely enclosed outside area with the hot tub. sadly the weather did not allow outdoor entertaining although we made good use of the hot tub!. the owners and family were so welcoming and helpful if needed. It was so nice to go to a luxury cottage with our dog who are so often excluded. However dont be put off if you are not a dog owner the cleanliness and standards of the place are incredible and dont suffer from the use by the furry friends. (unlike some places i have been to before).
Dont be put of by its quiet area, thats its charm and i cant recommend this place enough

Great place for the family to get together

Left on 04/07/2013 for a stay in March 2013

This holiday cottage was a fabulous place for the family to get together, some from Wiltshire and others from Lancashire, everyone had plenty of their own space in this well converted milking parlour which is well maintained and includes everything you could want for on a home from home holiday. We got a very warm welcome with a lovely homemade Easter cake waiting for us on arrival. Information pack gives plenty of ideas for those that want to explore the area and for those lazy days, the hot tub was great, even the cold weather didn't put us off using it everyday. The newly converted games room is also a great idea, providing that extra available activity if you don't want to go on the fabulous walks in the area. The owners live on site at the farm and are 'there if you need them' lovely, friendly hosts - Thankyou. Founders Folly is definitely worth a visit the views from the top are Not to be missed. We have definitely got the Milking Parlour on our list for a revisit (looking at the availability for the year ahead it's a very popular place and will need to be planned well in advance) :-)

      Terrific place

Left on 02/25/2013 for a stay in February 2013

This place is great, as long as you know how to entertain yourselves. Very well appointed with plenty of space, although it has 5 bedrooms I would suggest only 3 are suitable for adults, 2 are very small with twin beds.

      Very Enjoyable

Left on 12/07/2012 for a stay in October 2012

Superb quality build for the barn conversion. Also, plenty of room, and nicely laid out. Very pleasant hosts.

Location good - lots of footpaths to choose from, or even the roads as it's an isolated valley. Plenty of places to go within 10-50 miles.
