Description
This barn conversion cottage is located near to Westhope in Shropshire and can sleep up to eleven people in five bedrooms.Trooper's Barn is a large barn conversion on the owners' 250 acre farm near to the village of Westhope in Shropshire. The cottage can sleep eleven people and has five bedrooms, three of which are ensuite and two family bathrooms. There is also a sofa bed on the landing. The rest of the accommodation is made up of a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburner. Outside the cottage is off road parking for five cars and an enclosed patio area with outdoor furniture, charcoal barbecue (charcoal not included) and a private hot tub. There is also a shared games room and gym. With its neighbouring cottages, Trooper's Barn can sleep a total of thirty nine people in a lovely rural setting.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric range cooker with 5-ring hob, microwave, cafetiere, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, 6 x TVs (1 50" Smart TV, 5 TVs) with Freeview, WiFi. Shared games room with pool table, table football, table tennis, selection of books. Gym with TV and cross trainer, rowing machine, multi-gym and weights. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Honesty box for extra wood. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 5 cars. Enclosed patio garden with furniture, charcoal BBQ (charcoal not included). Private hot tub. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shared bike storage. Shop 6 miles, pub 4.8 miles. Note: For any guests who wish to use the hot tub, the owner requires a disclaimer to be signed before use. -This will be emailed to you by the owner prior to your stay. . Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was "the quietest place under the sun" and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
Town: The scattered village of Westhope is located amidst rolling farmland at the southern foot of the famous Wenlock Edge in Hope Valley. The area is home to numerous walks, rambling trails and cycle routes whilst many of Shropshire's main attractions are within easy driving distance of the village itself. Visitors can enjoy Church Stretton - known to the Victorians as Little Switzerland - with its antique shops and tea-rooms, in the midst of the beautiful Long Mynd Hills and close to the Acton Scott Historic Working Farm and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre. The World Heritage Site at Ironbridge, Attingham Park, the market towns of Much Wenlock, Shrewsbury and Ludlow are all within easy reach, leaving visitorsto the area spoiled for choice.

“Fantastic stay”
Cottage was clean and very spacious, kitcken had everything needed plus more. Rooms and beds were comfortable and spacious. Court yard was nice size private and self contained.
