Daytona Beach is the most recognized beach in the world. This 8 mile stretch has some of the most perfect sand found anywhere. The sand is so unique it can support vehicles and this allows the beach to be one of very few places in the world where vehicles are allowed to drive on the beach. Water temperatures are incredibly warm in the summer and stay comfortable 9 months per year. This same beach is so historic as Nascar started in the 1940's right on the beach before there was ever a Speeday built.
