Nice home, clean, all the essentials including an wine opener (very impotant). The grounds were very well taken csre of, Very quiet neighborhood which w2as very good. A lot of river activeity. In the evening sitting on the deck, watching the fishermen floating by. I had to leave early but rescheduled for 2 weeks later and a little bit longer stay. Its that good!

Roscoe, MontanaRelaxation on the river
Left on 02/15/2012 for a stay in December 2011
Our stay at the Madison River Home could not have been nicer. We were in town for the ski swap and were able to walk to town, enjoy the Christmas stroll, and walk back with a Nordic ski package! The home is very comfortable and equipped with everything a family needs. Its location "right on the river" is unparalleled and made even better with its proximity to restaurants, shopping, and night life. I look forward to staying in this cozy home again.

Chesapeake, VAPerfect river bungalow!
Left on 02/07/2012 for a stay in July 2011
My husband and I stayed here for a couple of weeks last July. It was a relaxing and rejuvenating vacation! We fished (of course!), walked to town for food & shopping, and attended the local parade & rodeo. Ennis is quaint, but full of culture and class. Great little restaurants and antique shops. Beautiful locally handcrafted jewelry & artwork! Virginia city is close by - like stepping back in time. Bozeman, also a short drive away, is a more modern college town with plenty of lively entertainment. We enjoyed an outdoor concert and open air market. Yellowstone is easily accessible from Ennis. But, the truth is, we really didn't want to stray far from this home. We slept with the windows open to listen to the softly rolling Madison. We cooked delicious meals with local produce (the kitchen is well stocked with cooking essentials.) We sipped wine on the patio and watched the setting sun turn the mountains golden or pink. We came home and immediately started planning our next trip to Ennis. No doubt, we'll return as often as we can. If you're looking for a charming place to unwind and quiet your spirit, book this bungalow! It is on the Madison river. The views are gorgeous. The beds are comfy. And it's very clean. Would be perfect for a couple seeking romance, a family looking for quality time, or a group of fishermen wanting the best access to world class fishing. You really can wade right in! We loved it.
