Well worth the price .Lovely , Clean ,Location Close to what I wanted to see .I did not want to leave !! I want to go back .Very nice people .3 big screen T,V s pool table ,A little off beaten track .But with in 5 min of action , Owners have 2 well behaved dogs ,2 rescued donkeys and a pony with 1 eye .A koi pond ,and a 2nd small one next to cabin .Flowers all eye candy to see .The road to it is a slow go for about 1 mile as it is windy and narrow and well worth it .I really was not sure if I wanted to post as I want to go back and as people see how wonder-full this place is ===

Saint Louis MOPeaceful and Renewing.. Beautiful Property, Wonderful Hosts
Left on 05/17/2013 for a stay in May 2013
This place is amazing.. I am returning next year! My family really enjoyed the animals on the property. We had the best sleep, the beds are super comfortable they are tempur-pedic memory foam. The whole cabin is decorated tastfully with art from the area. There is netflicks & a pool table, and a computer in the cabin. The town is friendly and very into art and music. The historic district is a lot of fun, great shopping, tons to do. My favorite part of my trip was the property I left feeling renewed and relaxed. Jan & Q are great hosts, they gave us fresh organic strawberries and we were greeted with gourmet cupcakes when we first checked in. Also the cabin smelled great, music was playing, the lighting was perfect. They really think of everything and care about all the senses and the total experience.

Left on 04/24/2013 for a stay in March 2013
great location, clean amenities, comfortable beds, wonderful host. If we are through the area again we will plan on staying there. Our kids (2 and 5) enjoyed playing pool, watching movies and Harry and Lloyd. Bring apples. Our favorite part was enjoying some hot chocolate and coffee on the porch early in the morning with the rain coming down around us. One suggestion would be darker shades in the bedroom for nap times.

Girl's Weekend
Broken Arrow, OKFantastic
Left on 03/27/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We rented the cabin for a 3 day Girl's weekend. The cabin was beautiful & had lots of room. It was closed to downtown shopping & just about everything. We wished it hadn't been so rainy so we could have spent some time outside wandering around. We did enjoy seeing Harry & Lloyd everyday & feeding them. They were so cute. I actually loved that it snowed a little, it was so relaxing watching it snow in that peaceful cabin. Loved the pool table & big screen tv. Can not wait to visit again. I am telling everyone about it & showing our beautiful pictures. I loved everything about this place, can not think of anything I didn't like, except the weather was too wet & cold.

Left on 03/27/2013 for a stay in March 2013
The cabin was the perfect place for our Girl's Getaway! The wooded surroundings makes you feel as if you are tucked far away in a secluded wilderness, however, this place is less than 10 minutes from the downtown shopping area. The cabin was incredible! Everything from the trees, waterfalls, koi ponds, wildlife, greenhouse, and more it was absolutely breathtaking! While we were in Eureka Springs we had snow, ice, and mist. But the cabin was so warm, cozy, and comfortable - we spent two nights just relaxing in the cabin with the fireplace, movies, and popcorn! The owners, Jan and Q, were so welcoming and accomodating. They were always available if needed and so kind! Lloyd and Harry (resident donkeys) always greeted us and were eager to eat the carrots and apples we fed them! Every morning and evening we saw an abundance of bunnies in the yard and a variety of birds! We can't wait to go back, especially in nicer weather so we can explore more of the surroundings. Thank you Jan & Q for providing this beautiful, peaceful haven! We will be back!!

Muskogee, OklahomaVery Nice!!!
Left on 03/21/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We stayed at Dragonfly Mountain Lodge on our trip to Eureka Springs. I must say this is worth every penny. The lodge is very nice. There is no detail overlooked. Jan and Q are very friendly and accommodating. We really had a good time playing pool on the pool table inside the cabin. Harry and Lloyd (I think) are very friendly. They are the donkeys on site. My kids and I had a great time feeding them. The only thing I can think to improve is to put blinds or curtains up. No curtains or blinds seemed a little strange. Just because we are not used to just having windows. However the bedroom did have some curtains. However that would not prevent us in any way from staying here again. Probably one of the nicest lodges we have ever stayed in. Also the owners are very respectful of your privacy and will not come down while you are there. The cabin is fairly close to their house. Also the lodge is very close to town. Maybe 5-10 minutes but far enough away to feel like you are in the country. We are very picky about where we will stay and without a doubt this is the best in Eureka Springs.

Marion, IowaA Birthday at Dragonfly
Left on 03/13/2013 for a stay in March 2013
If you are looking for a secluded lodge, consider the Dragonfly. We celebrated a birthday and upon our arrival, Q & Jan had a chocolate birthday cake and fresh daisies waiting on the table. Although it looks like a cabin on the exterior, the interior is modern and spacious. The cabin is nestled in the woods but only a short drive for fabulous Eureka Springs Restaurants. Please remember to take carrots and apples for Harry and Lloyd, the donkeys that Q & Jan rescued. The dogs roam the property and have been taught not to jump on guests! I'm glad we decided to spend four nights here, as it was on our final day that we had the opportunity to enjoy the land and the animals.

Left on 01/22/2013 for a stay in July 2012
My family & I stayed in July 2012 and I regret to say, I'm just now getting around to this review. Delayed but necessary as I would not want it to have gone unsaid...This is an amazing place to stay! Jan & Q were most accommodating & have truly created a something unique. Nestled away however still very close to all Eureka Springs has to offer. The owners Jan & Q also live on the property in the main house but this guest cabin is located in the rear of the premises, out of sight and very comfortable. Prior to our stay, I had read and saw pics of couple of Donkey's to be found here and must admit...I raised my brow a bit!...Donkey's...what? But surprisingly these little guys are what made this family vaca so special. My 15 year old niece (15yr and too cool for anything...)couldn't get enough time in with them. Harry & Floyd they're called, what personalities!! She spent more time either walking down to feed and pet the donkeys or tracking down one of Jan & Q's adorable 2 little dogs (Jack & Sunny). That's right, she actually put down the Ipod, walked outside and lived & laughed the outdoors for 4 solid days! Whether just you and a spouse or with children, this is the place to stay. Very special...

Everything was just wonderful, from the time we arrived to the time we left. Perfect for a relaxing weekend in Eureka Springs, secluded and private but only a couple minutes from town. We weare able to walk around outside in just out nighties without any conern and sun bath in our bikinis the next day. The Koi pond is peacful and it is evident there has been a lot of work out into it.
Jan and Q were hospitable and friendly from the time we pulled up. They treated us more like family that guests, alway s able to make a helopful suggestions for attractiosn or restaurants.
Really can't say enough about Dragonfly.
I would especially like to Thank Q for taking showing us her old time photo shop, its was a blast! Soo much fun! We will most certainly be back!

This is absolutely the place to be in Eureka Springs. It is secluded lodging very close to town. A short 5 minutes and you are in the heart of es...or in the most relaxing lodge around. Jan and Q are amazing hosts. I have a hard time relaxing, but the sounds and sights made it super easy to do here. Sitting on the porch with coffee, strolling the grounds, and that water fall...ahhh, the sound of water.
I will definitely be back!! -

Jan & Q are excellent hosts, they made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The cabin was clean, spacious and well appointed. We immediately felt at home and were able to relax in the peaceful surroundings.
The area abounds with all kinds of wildlife and we were lucky enough to have deer visit us most days right outside the bedroom window.
The location is perfect, set up high in the woods yet only a five minute drive to Eureka Springs.
Our favourite thing was getting up in the morning and having breakfast on the porch, sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the humming birds feeding right before your eyes.
We sincerely hope that one day we will be able to stay at this lovely home in the not to distant future. -

The Dragonfly Mountain Lodge is better than described. What a true value! Jan and Q were marvelous hosts who have a fantastic cabin. Eureka Springs is very beautiful but a little crowded. This cabin is off the regular route giving it a quiet secluded ambiance. The special touches that Jan and Q offer are so above and beyond that is similar to luxury digs in vacations spots in Europe.

We had so much fun on our weekend getaway! We got to see all the attractions in Eureka Springs! But the best part of the trip, by far, was staying at this wonderful place! It is so quiet and peaceful. The lodge itself is spectacular! When you walk in it feels as if the place was built just for you! It was also cleaner and more well taken care of than any hotel Ive ever seen!! This is the only place worth staying in Eureka!! Thanks so much Jan and Q, you made our stay perfect!!!

Dragonfly Mountain is the perfect escape in Eureka Springs. We visit multiple times per year for the last twelve years and Dragonfly Mt is by far the best value, most peaceful and comfortable lodging in Eureka Springs. Spotlessly clean, large, comfortable, only two miles from town yet feel miles away. Jan and Q were perfectly accomodating while still giving us all the privacy we needed. We have stayed in hotels, B&Bs;, private cottages, cabins and Dragonfly Mountain is by far our favorite. We will be back, no more searching for the "perfect" spot, we found it.

We visited this lovely oasis when we were in need of a rest and renewal. The hosts made our visit comfortable and inviting. The cabin is secluded while still being close to everything. The tranquil setting filled all of our requisits for an all too brief vacation. The beds are comfortable, the living area creates a place to reconnect, and the billiards table rocks. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get back their groove.

Peaceful...serene...this fabulous space is just indescribably awesome. You feel like you're miles and miles out in the middle of no where...which always kicks in that 'relaxation' thing...yet you're really just a short couple minutes from town! I think that was our favorite part...the peace and quiet and the sounds of nature around us - just minutes after a busy day of shopping and eating and fun in town.
The interior is so tastefully done...and tons of space. Pictures don't do this place justice!! Early morning coffee and late evening cocktails on the lovely front porch...doesn't get any better than that.
The owners are amazing...the service is fabulous, we had a lovely few days and can't wait for the opportunity to return! -

If you're looking for a place to just relax, kick back and get away from the rat race of the city, this is the place to be. Located in the country but only 5 minutes from downtown, quiet, peaceful, and surreal can only describe your experience at Dragonfly Mountain Lodge. Your hosts, Jan & Q will make your stay unforgettable. From the moment of your arrival, you are felt welcome. If you are a new visitor to Eureka Springs, Jan & Q will provide you with a wealth of information regarding the town and surrounding area, sights and recreational activities for your stay. The amenities are fantastic. Just want to lounge around all day, then sit out on the open front porch, in a rocker, and sip a glass of wine or favorite beverage and enjoy the peacefulness and the sound of the water from a distant koi pond and fountain. If you just can't be without a connection to the outside world or need to get caught up on the news, you can stay connected with 2 large flat screen TVs that offer many channels for viewing as well as your favorite Netflix movie any time you want. In addition there is a desktop computer to check email or available Wifi if you happen to have brought your own laptop or wireless device. You may just want to hang and listen to music on the stereo or play a game of pool on the professional pool table; all at your personal disposal.

I do love this little bit of luxury that is tucked away in a most beautiful and serene environment! The personal attention and service is outstanding. The lodge itself is always clean and tastefully decorated. Initially, it quite simply is a great place to rest your head while visiting the charming town of Eureka. However, it also has its own diversions should one choose to spend the morning inside, or decide to return to on the early side after a day spent in town.
The lodge itself is located in a peaceful country-like setting. However it only takes about 10 minutes to get into Eureka's historic downtown district, or to arrive at many of the other sight-seeing offerings in and around Eureka Springs.
This is an incredible vacation home! I really can't say enough great things about it! I just know that I always find myself coming back to Dragonfly Mountain Lodge every time I return to Eureka Springs! -

Left on 04/16/2012 for a stay in April 2012
The Dragonfly Lodge was more than we could have imagined! Just returned from a trip to Eureka Springs for a girls weekend. The lodge is a short, less than 10min drive to the heart of the historic district, so you are still close to everything yet secluded by trees & nature. So Peaceful!
The first thing you notice when pulling up to the lodge is the front porch-large windows and big rockers. Inviting!
As soon as you open the door to the lodge you have this wide open space with lots of natural light. The living room area has a plush sofa with flat screen tv-netflix is included, dining table, desk with computer, stereo system and a regulation size pool table-no quarters needed!
A small alcove holds the mini fridge,coffee pot,microwave & a sink.
Continuing through the lodge you open french doors to the bedroom, which has 2 queen beds, that were very comfortable-comfy beds are sometimes hard to find when traveling, all the girls commented that they got the best nights sleep!
A big bonus since we were a group of 4 girls was the big bathroom with double sink vanity, lots of space for primping.
We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the rockers sipping our coffee in the mornings listening to the sounds of nature.
The owners could not have been more hospitable. Available if we needed anything. They have some very special little extra touches.
While our group consisted of 4 women, the lodge would be perfect for couples traveling together, singles, small families. The location is perfect for renewing your soul and complete relaxation.
