Description

This home is delightfully located only four houses from Gig Harbor Bay, where you can enjoy the waterfront, marinas, shops, restaurants, boat, kayak and SUP rentals, parks, a seasonal farmer's market, festivals, summer concert bands, and people watching. It is an upscale Victorian with the original 1901 house still standing in this 2008 remodel offering guests about 2150 square feet in a 2-bedroom 1.5 bath home. The original home belonged to Gig Harbor’s first minister. The house also contains a living room, full kitchen, office area, 3 stool breakfast bar, wet bar, formal dining room with a 6-person dining table, laundry room, sitting/TV room upstairs, and large patio with 2 tables and chairs, sun umbrella, barbeque grill, and 6-person hot tub. The main bathroom is located just outside the bedrooms. The half bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs. The kitchen is spectacular with a double oven, 4 burner glass topped range, spacious microwave, full size fridge, nearly all possible small appliances, and extensive cookware. There are also small refrigerators and household air conditioners in the bedrooms. The upstairs sitting room offers a 2nd microwave too. Views of gorgeous Mt. Rainier can be enjoyed from the property. There also is a small view of Gig Harbor Bay and moored boats. Downtown Gig Harbor is vibrant but not noisy. Like this warm yet modern old Victorian house, there is quaintness in downtown Gig Harbor. Gig Harbor has almost all the services of big cities. What it doesn't offer, Tacoma, only 15 minutes away will have it.

A rental car is needed to explore greater Gig Harbor and outlying areas and other cities. Guests can walk the downtown area and Gig Harbor offers a shuttle in the summer to Uptown Gig Harbor for the Imax theater, the Gig Harbor theater, other shops and restaurants and grocery stores.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
