This detached, pet-friendly single-storey cottage in Grindon sleeps two people in one bedroom and is near to the owners' home.Manifold Cottage is a detached, single-storey pet-friendly property, near to the owners' home and with views over the countryside from inside the property and from the garden, in the village of Grindon. There is one double bedroom, a bathroom, and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Outside is off road parking and an enclosed garden with furniture. Manifold Cottage is a cosy and welcoming base for enjoying the Peak District all year round.
Amenities: Storage heaters throughout with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, TV with Freeview, DVD. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Enclosed garden with lawn and patio with furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4 miles, pub 2 miles.
Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.
Town: The lovely rural village of Grindon lies on the side of stunning Manifold Valley, in the centre of the Peak District. The Manifold Valley, cuts through stunning scenery and is popular with walkers and cyclists. Grindon is a lovely stone built village and less than two miles away is the lovely village of Butterton, which has a butchers, pub and a Post Office. Further afield, is the market town of Ashbourne and as an added bonus, Alton Towers is just a thirty minute drive away. Grindon is the perfect base to explore this part of the Peak District National Park.
