The view and location were the fabulous. The condo was comfortable and had all we needed. It is getting a bit run down and time for a reno as we had a few maintenance issues. But other than that it was great. Very clean, the pantry was well stocked and the grounds were beautiful.

We were meeting up with our son, his wife and our grandson in Hawaii and needed a place that could accommodate us all. Rentals were actually difficult to find, so getting #303 was quite a relief. The rental agency was helpful, sent us information as needed and arranged immediate repairs on a few small maintenance issues.
The apartment was well supplied and included basics such as liquid soap, laundry detergent and sauces, herbs and some packeted goods in the pantry. A good selection of pots and pans, kitchen electronics etc. Some of the plates are chipped and there wasn't a full complement of smaller tumblers and wine glasses but we managed.
Apart from a collection of sand behind a bathroom sliding door (fixed through the agency) the place was clean, though salt has affected many of the metal components in windows, fans etc.
It was a comfy place for a family stay. The book shelf with novels and books on Kauai and the reefs, animals etc was appreciated. The downstairs barbecues at the resort were well used by everyone and clean. The pool and spa were appreciated. The lawns of the resort were kept immaculately as many of the apartments are owned by a timeshare company.

We enjoyed our stay very much the condo had everything we needed and had lots of room and the location was great. The tiles in both baths looked like they needed a good cleaning, everything else was perfect.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was a last minute reservation and my check-in went very smoothly. The oceanfront view was awesone, just feet away from the beautiful blue ocean. The bed was very comfortable which is always important. A well-stocked kitchen with lots of spices was an unexpected treat. I didn't have to go out and buy every little item I needed for cooking. There were also beach towels, pool towels and chairs for my use. It had all the creature comforts that make a great vacation stay.

I travel to Kauai every year with either family or friends. This last trip, I spent Thanksgiving with family at Kapaa Shores. Because of the great location and excellent service, Kapaa Shores will be our destination resort in Kauai for every future vacation.

We stayed at Kapaa Shores #303 with our family of five and were very comfortable there. There was plenty of room for all of us. The condo was clean and everything was in working order. The ocean view was amazing! The kids really enjoyed the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay at Kappa Shores #303 again.

unit was nice and clean, flowers in unit was very special....thank you! Our only complaint was that the cooking pots/pans were "understocked." We added a couple of items and left them there! We loved having the washer/dryer in the unit too!
We sometimes wish there were someone to help us older folks with luggage to 3rd floor....but we survived!

We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay when we took our three sons to kauai. to this day they still talk about how much fun they had and can't wait to visit again. Thanks Garden Island Properties.
