“Romantic Honeymoon Getaway”

Reviewed 26 Mar 2012

My new wife and I chose the Kenmare area for the first four days of our Honeymoon, and chose John's cottage as we were looking for an isolated, quiet getaway for ourselves, and we thought the fact it was on a farm would be great for our one-year old son. On arrival, Ann, the proprietor had prepared the cottage with rose petals scattered on the bed, in the indoor hot tub(!), had a bottle of wine ready for us, and the fact that we were late arriving was of no trouble to us, she was very considerate and welcoming to us. In fact, for the whole of our stay she could not have been better, providing us with firewood, bring us on a quick walk around the farm, advising us about the area..the whole stay was great from start to finish, the cottage itself was perfect, quiet, clean, well furnished and equipped, it was great for our son, Ann had a travel cot and high chair for us all ready. Very romantic, quiet, and excellent value. Couldn't recommend it highly enough :) Would like to go back someday
