Brand new bathroom with tiled floors and shower. Also new oak hardwood floors installed in the rest of the house.

There is a private, fenced backyard that is about 900 sf. Guests will also have access easy access through a gate to an even larger yard with playstructure and private Hot Tub. The collection of redwood and other trees provide the perfect amount of privacy for the hot tub while still allowing perfect star-gazing. Depending on the time of year, you can help yourself to fresh lemons, oranges, loquots, and figs from our many fruit trees.

We can be a little flexible about how weset up beds in the t...wo rooms to accomodate the number of guests staying. We have long term renters there right now and when they move out we will be furnishing the place to rent on airbnb. So actual furnishings will likely look a bit different then the attached photos.

Our home is a short 3 block walk to downtown Mountain View's Castro St with hundreds of restaurants of every nationality. We're also a short walk to the Steven's Creek Trail, as well as CalTrain (a Baby Bullet train stop to San Francisco and San Jose) and Light Rail. Close to highways CA85, US-101, CA237 and I-280 (although you can't see or hear any of them). Close to that large search company that starts with a "G" and ends with an "oogle", that business-oriented social networking company that starts with a "Linked" and ends with an "In", Microsoft, Apple, and many other high-tech companies (sorry about being obtuse, but Airbnb hides those company names thinking you are trying to post a website). Less than 6 miles to Stanford University and Stanford Hospital.

If you have any special requests for your arrival, please just let us know. Some friends from the East Coast cannot start a day without Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Not just any coffee, it has to be their brand. Caf or Decaf? Soy milk or Half-n-half? If you have a request, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
