Description

1 Bedroom fully-furnished and fully-equipped apartment in owner-occupied 1884 Victorian home. Apartment renovated in May 2010. Kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom.

Kitchen has full-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, cappuccino maker, whole bean grinder, blender, toaster oven, microwave, sandwich press, and gas stove/oven, as well as utensils, barware, plates and cooking equipment. NO DISHWASHER.

Off the kitchen is a large bedroom with King bed and a single bed (which can be enjoyed like a sofa/daybed if only two people staying in apartment), electric fireplace, armoire with 3 drawers, TV and DVD player, and two wicker arm chairs. There is no separate living room, but the bedroom is very large and has 2 comfortable wicker chairs.

The bathroom has a shower/tub unit.

All linens are provided with a change of linens offered once a week. Apartment is cleaned before check-in and after check-out--tenants are expected to maintain it during their stay (there is no maid service and cleaning supplies are available for tenants' use during the stay). We respectfully request that you clean all dishes and appliances after each use.

Use of front porch with bistro set for relaxation or enjoying your morning breakfast. There is also a seating area for use in the back yard gardens.

Ideal for a couple, but a third person may be accommodated up to a maximum of one month. There are extra charges for the 3rd person due to the need for extra cleaning and linens. The 3rd person is $10/night up to 5 nights, $50/week, and $250/month. NO CHILDREN UNDER 6.

A/C in summer, heated in winter. This historic home sits on 8 acres of land with beautiful country gardens and is ideally located within 5 miles of two prestigious private boarding schools: The Groton School and Lawrence Academy, both in neighboring Groton, Massachusetts. Within walking/biking distance of a scenic rail trail for walking, biking, and rollerblading. Town of Pepperell has historic and scenic covered bridge as well as Revolutionary War history. Apartment is within easy walk to town with churches, grocery store, library, banks and restaurants. 1 hour Northwest of Boston and 15 minutes from Nashua, New Hampshire.
