SouthamptonA great stay in a lovely cottage
Left on 05/20/2013 for a stay in May 2013
My wife & I along with our dog, Harry, stayed for 3 nights in May. From the first contact made, Fenella was a pleasure to deal with & all communication was replied to very promptly. We were even offered the chance to arrive a few hours early as the property was empty the night before although unfortunately we weren't able to.
On arrival, Fenella gave us a thorough introduction to the cottage so we knew where everything was & how everything worked. We also had cake & wine left for us as well as milk, tea, coffee & sugar.
We had arranged for an internet grocery shop to be delivered to us shortly after our arrival which worked out really well. All the main supermarkets deliver to the property & the owner's website even states that they are able to accept deliveries on your behalf prior to arrival if notice is given.
The cottage has a nice open layout with lots of light coming in. The lovely garden backs on to woodl& & would be a lovely place to sit out if we ever get suitable weather to do so. Harry certainly enjoyed his sniffs & runs round the garden. We had some nice walks from the cottage both in the adjoining woods as well as down the tracks & through the local farm which is open for you to walk round as long as you keep to the designated areas.
During our stay we went for walks down the Kennet & Avon canal at the Caen Hill Locks in Devizes, which is very impressive, & also from Pewsey Wharf, both of which are only a short drive away & were very enjoyable.
The only local place we ate in was the Barge Inn where we had a lunch. It was dog friendly & the food was okay although I'm not sure I'd go for an evening meal. It would however be a lovely place for a drink or meal outside if the weather was good enough as it is immediately adjacent to the canal tow path.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable break in a great cottage with which we had no issues or complaints & hopefully somewhere that we will be able to return to in the not too distant future. -

Left on 05/08/2013 for a stay in April 2013
Thanks so much Fenella for such a wonderful holiday, the cottage lived up to its photos was better in fact and we had a lovely peaceful stay there. A really beautiful dog friendly cottage we even had doggy bags under the sink! Absolutely everything had been thought of, even extra throws for the sofa just in case the dogs did creep on!! After we had arrived and been shown round and shown how things worked we were left to enjoy our holiday but had Fenella just next door if we needed her. We also got to enjoy her gorgeous garden (watching the fish in the pond).
Cake and wine was much appreciated after our 5 hour trip which I would definitely love to make again, it truly was a home from home and totally stress free.
Walks round the local area were fantastic -

The cottage was in the most magical of settings only sorry we were too early for the Bluebells.
Very comfortable well thought out accommodation and exceptionally dog friendly - our German Shepherd amber enjoyed it immensely.
Excellent walking countryside with lovely villages and beautiful views. -

I count myself very fortunate to have found this place and just at that point when I was really desperate to get out of the city. I arrived horribly late but Fenella was very nice about it. The place itself is bigger than I expected, very clean and nobody intrudes on your privacy. Dogs allowed which was a Godsend for me as I couldn't leave my dog at home. He was in heaven, almost caught a rabbit. I found it a very peaceful place to spend a few days. Would go back.

NorwichPerfect retreat!
Left on 03/02/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Stayed here for four nights last month (feb).
Really can't say enough about it, the house is light, bright, warm and contains everything you need and yet it's so clutter free.
The host welcomed us with flowers and a delicious cake, perfect for the post journey cup of tea. We did not see her again ( or anyone ) until I handed back the keys at the end of the stay. However, she was always on hand if we needed anything. The back garden leads into a lovely wooded area and down the lane is the beginning of many wonderful walks. So very quiet except for some owls at night which was pretty cool. You should stay here if you want peace. -

Left on 01/06/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We spent a rainy New Year in this lovely cottage. Some days the weather outside was so awful that we just hunkered down in the spotless, cosy warmth of this beautifully presented hideaway. The lovely owner, Fenella, was on hand if we needed anything, but was not at all intrusive. The extra touches (wine, cake, milk and fresh flowers) made it even more special. The lounge looks out onto a private garden, backed by woodland. The full moon shining down through the leafless trees was magical. We were told that there are deer, foxes and owls, but they must sensibly have been sheltering from the torrential rain! The cottage is light and airy, the bed extremely comfy, the kitchen is very well equipped and everything is of a very high standard.
All in all, we would not hesitate to recommend this cottage and look forward to returning to see Wiltshire in the sunshine! Thanks, Fenella and Duncan.

Lovely warm welcome from Fenella. Felt the cottage was private although Fenella & family were near at hand should there be any problems. The cottage was very well equipped with added extras to make guests welcome. Never slept in such a large comfortable bed! Bonus having french doors onto the garden with a backdrop of wooded area. Just so relaxing. We wish we could have stayed longer than 3 days as there were so many walks we could have had with our dog. Nearby Pewsey has all you need for goceries, petrol etc. We were visiting our family in nearby Devizes which is a lovely town & also Malborough (great coffee shop - Pollys!) Just such beautiful countryside & attractions to enjoy. Would definitely stay again.

Left on 11/05/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We stayed for a few days in early November and would thoroughly recommend the cottage to anyone. It is very modern and well equipped with a full kitchen, king-size bed (very comfy) a wonderful power shower, wi-fi, cosy living area and nice self-contained garden. It is in a perfect location for exploring the area and is particularly good for walkers. It is close to the Ridgeway, the Wiltshire White Horse Trail, Silbury Hill, Neolithic burial grounds, ancient hill forts, the avebury stones, the Caen Hill locks as well as numerous other attractions. The lovely market town of Marlborough is also very near.
Thank you Fenella for a wonderful short break. -

Left on 10/23/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We stayed at this cottage to attend a wedding in Pewsey which unfortunately meant we didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked to in the cottage. The cottage is situated to the edge of woodland which is peaceful and unspoilt. Inside the cottage it has been restored to a high standard and is very clean.
The owners of the cottage are very friendly and so helpful, they couldn't do enough for us.
We would love to return to this cottage for a relaxing break and to explore Wiltshire. The location is perfect to get away to have a relaxing stress free break. -

This was our third stay at all Saints Cottage. the service we received on all visits was second to none,we were made to feel very welcome. The cottage is beautifully clean always looks pristine, no signs of there being regular visitors. The facilities are perfect specially in the bathroom,a large bath and a separate shower cubicle. The kitchen is well equipped, we ate in every day of our stay. The land surrounding the property gives a feeling of complete privacy and is very peaceful.
The area is ideal to explore the local towns, Marlborough, Hungerford, Salisbury to name but a few. We spent a very interesting day at avebury, plenty to see including The Manor and museum, the walks to view the stone circle are intresting too.
There are many walks in the local area ranging from a hard climb to a gentle stroll along the canal.
I am already looking forward to a return visit next year -

Left on 07/09/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Secluded property that is ideal for a couple who like cycling and walking in Wiltshire. Located right on Sustrans route 4, close to canal towpaths and quiet lanes to local pubs and villages. We'd never been to Wiltshire for a holiday before so enjoyed visiting some of the larger towns and cities such as Marlborough and Salisbury. The weather wasn't fantastic and if it had been sunnier we would have spent more time in the garden in evenings instead of the local pub. The pub was very friendly as was our original welcome at the cottage.

Left on 08/29/2011 for a stay in August 2011
The all Saints Cottage is an ideal locale for anyone seeking a beautiful tranquil place to stay in the Wiltshire countryside. The fully equipped cottage had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing including a private garden and a great bathtub. It was in close proximity to wonderful walks, hikes and area attractions, and walking distance to the local pub. Our delightful hosts thought of every detail, and upon arrival we found a welcome bottle of wine, fresh flowers, and a delicious lemon cake to enjoy with our tea. We spent a total of ten days there and after a long day of sight seeing we looked forward to returning to the quiet and privacy of our cottage where we felt quite at home. The website is great but this is one of those rare places that is actually better than it appears on the internet.

Left on 08/21/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Very quiet location close to an old church at the end of a blind rural alley and at the same time very near to the places of interest in the heart of Wiltshire, like Pewsey valley and the megalithic sites around avebury. Ideal location to visit these sites (as well as the 'crop formations' which appear every summer in the fields of Wiltshire) and relax in the quiet atmosphere of the cottage and its immediate surroundings. The cottage offers all the usual comfort and a spacious private garden. The hosting people, living in the nearby church, are very friendly and caring. We have made our booking for next year straight away and on the spot.

Left on 07/12/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We spent a very enjoyable week here. The property is in a quiet corner of the countryside but is within short driving distance of many attractions and towns such as stonehenge, Avebury and Salisbury with other sights like the Dorset coast still within reasonable travelling distance.
There is a canal and plenty of easy walking routes in the immediate area of the cottage which is good if you do not wish to drive. Cycling is also popular and the owners were kind enough to offer us the use of their bikes.
The property was well presented and very comfortable and has the benefit of a private garden. There was a full set of kitchen facilities with everything in good working order. Pewsey is within 10 minutes drive if you need supplies however there is a garden centre only a short walk away that sells a range of food and has a cafe. The Seven Stars Inn is also a short walk although you may wish to check in advance what days they serve evening meals on if you are planning on eating there.
The owners were very welcoming and had gone to the extra effort of providing a bottle of wine, a cake, milk, coffee, biscuits, a range of teas and fresh flowers in the living room. -
