In the midst of a Southern California's National Forest rests a private golf, tennis, hiking, mountain biking community with its small shops and restaurants. Within a short walk from the village center, golf course and club house is our house waiting for your group to vacation. We offer 7 bedrooms and a loft. Two of the bedrooms are in a separate guest unit downstairs from the main house with it's own kitchenette and bath. Our house has 16 individual beds that sleep up to 25 people as some are double beds. Some rooms sleep up to 4 and have high vaulted ceilings. Off the "Grapevine" I-5 FWY; Frazier Park exit and 20 minute drive west, Pine Mountain Club is a small private mountain community with a lake, 8 hole golf course, tennis courts, pool, club house with rec-room, bar/restauraunt lounge and 24 hr security. Located only one and a half hour drive north of down town Los Angeles and surrounded by Los Padres National Forest.
Great location; Quiet neighbors, upscale mountain neighborhood, parking on drive-way for up to 10 cars. Walking distance to town center, club house, lake, golf course, tennis courts, church and park. 100 yards to closest nature trail.

This house was fantastic. We brought 11 guys up for my brother's bachelor party weekend. It was the perfect place for us to stay altogether (comfortably). There were more than enough beds and the kitchen was nice and large. In addition to its size, the location was great - close enough to the general store and the golf course. I highly recommend Heidi's Retreat (and Pine Mountain Club, generally) for a weekend of golf, hiking and even jousting!

We stayed here for a "Boys Weekend" and visited the american Jousting association nearby for their "Knight for a Day" package. The house is very roomy (there were nine of us) and the owner is a pleasure to work with. It is not fancy, but we were not looking for that, and it was perfect for our needs.

I took my youth group on a retreat and this cabin was a choice one. Wonderful size kitchen and rooms and very pleasant. This is the third retreat I have done in Pine Mountain Club and normally would have tio get 2 cab.ins but not this time. If only I found this 2 years ago.

Thanks Bo. And welcome back anytime. Our house is the biggest at least as far as how many people it accomodates. The back yard is large and flat too so in the summer large parties like weddings are possible.

We had a fantastic time! The cabin is w/in walking distance of the town which has anything you might need, that is, if you ever want to leave the cabin. It is charming!! Very well appointed & perfect for a large or small group. It had everything we needed including a well sized Family room for our large group. Did I mention 5 bathrooms!!! Perfect for a girls or guys weekend/week. The owners were as great as the view off the deck. We had a great time!!!

The home was very spacious and accommodated everyone. The kitchen area was great for cooking and being together. The proximity to the club was also good. We did however, have a problem with ants in the kitchen. Also, the home was not as clean as we had hoped. We also had to bring all our own toilet paper and towels. I thought that was a bit strange. All in all it was fine and we had fun.

Sorry about the ants. They do come in the hot part of the summer to cool off and if food is left out they will find it. That's why it is important to clean the counters after cooking. We stock ant spray under the sink for this reason. Insects are plentiful in the mountains in the summer time. We follow the local rental agency policy on the papergoods. Some agencies don't even provide linens which I don't like. To bring your own sheets would be such a hassle for 16 beds of various sizes.

This cabin is extremely comfortable and spacious. The home and surrounding area are beautiful and provide a relaxing environment for a peaceful weekend away. We were extremely pleased with the accommodations and would definitely stay in this cabin again.
