We truly had a wonderful time in Playa del Carmen. Your penthouse is very well situated. We were very close to the beach and very close to all the shops and nightlife on 5th ave. We felt very safe and walked everywhere without any worries. Playa is such a lively place. So many wonderful restaurants and little bars.
We just loved Off the Vine which is just down the street from your penthouse on 1st ave. We went there every Thursday for Tapas. Mario is a part owner and a fellow Quebecer. We met some really lovely people at his restaurant. They made us feel like part of the family.
We enjoyed coffee and pasteries at Chez Celine ... just around the corner.
We enjoyed pizza at Il Barretto ... again, right around the corner. We went 3 times!
We also went to El Fogon a couple of times which is on 30th near 34th.
We had breakfast a couple of times at La Vagabunda ... also very good.
We went to the Tequila Barrel for drinks. Great music!
There were several other spots that we enjoyed as well ... too numerous to mention them all!
We did go on a few excursions. They would pick us up and drop us off at the Real on 5th and 34th which is just around the corner.
We absolutetly loved your penthouse. It was everything we hoped it would be ... and more! There was plenty of room for our guests. Whether we were 4 people or 6, we did not feel like we were tripping over each other. There was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed watching the sunrise on the tanning deck (when we were up early enough!). We enjoyed coffee and breakfast out on the balcony. We enjoyed candlelit dinners on the rooftop and made good use of the BBQ. We cooked some fabulous t-bone steaks that we bought at Mega.
If we do go back to Mexico, we would love to stay in your penthouse again ... that is how much we loved it! Thank you so much for the opportunity to experience Playa del Carmen in such a wonderful environment!

We've been in Playa every year for the 13...and this was by far our best accommodations! The home was spotlessly clean, had every possible convenience, best location to the beach and 5th avenue and the furnishings were perfect! Sitting outside is always a bonus...even in the rain!...and the outdoor seating areas were just perfect. We enjoy dining in, and having a BBQ (and a great one) was a bonus. Can't say enough good things about the place... And dealing with Mryna and Eric was very enjoyable!

This was one of the best vacations, ever. My husband, myself and a couple of friends and rented villa azur for the month of October. It has everything you could possibly want. Once we walked in we felt that we were right at home! We all work on cruise ships so needless to say, we travel for a living. We spent most of our time in the apt, no need to leave. Great BBQ, awesome jacuzzi , and if you dare to stay up to watch the sunrise there is no better location than the roof top balcony!
The aptartment is truly a penthouse, and the pictures just don't it justice!
Take it from us travel-pros, this is the best deal and place to stay in playa del Carmen ! -

This is my second time staying at the Penthouse. I've stayed with both a group of friends (5 adults) and my brother and sister in law and my 12 and 8 year old nieces. The penthouse was comfortable for both types of people. The outdoor space - the balcony off the main level and the roof top - were wonderful and made the place feel even more spacious than it already was. The kitchen was large and had everything you could need to make a drink or cook a full meal. This place is exceptional and Eric, the owner, is easy to work with and always available. I had great communication with him via email when I planned our second trip. The location of the penthouse is also exceptional as it's close to mamitas beach, our favorite dive shops (Mexican Blue Dream) and 5th avenue. Safe, convenient, spacious, beautiful, clean and affordable - this place has it all. I will definitely be bringing my family back in the coming years!

Me and 4 friends lived in this penthouse during a semester of school last fall. And it was without doubt 3 and a half months in pure luxury. The penthouse has alot of space, and are of a very high modern standard. Throughout our 14 weeks living there, we only had minor problems, which Joe (the manager) always helped us fix quickly. Great view, great location, and great standards. Will most definitely come back to fantastic Playa del Carmen and book this penthouse again in the future

We could not ask for a better place to spend our 4 months holiday. The apartment is luxurious with high standards. The huge rooftop quickly became our favorite place to hangout. We enjoyed long nights with barbecue and relaxing in the hot tube.
It is perfectly located, with only 2 minutes walk to the beach. You will also find restaurant, shops, nightlife and everything you need within walking distance.
If we had a slightest problem, the manager was always there to fix it right away.
I will definitely recommend this apartment to those wanting a memorable stay in mexico. -

primero quiero dar gracias a los dueños por permitir nuestra estancia en su propiedad; todo desde la primera entrevista hasta que llegamos de viaje todo fue un exito total en el apartamento y quiero agradecer a los administradores por su apoyo fueron mu atentos y muy serviciales en todo momento, en verdad el apartamento esta de lujo muy bien decorado y muy espacioso todas las areas cocina, recamaras, sala y comedor asi como la lavanderia, el aire acondicionado funciona exelente , y de las cosas mas impresionantes el jacuzzi pasamos muchas horas en esa area fue maravilloso; y en los camastros viendo el amanecer en el oceano se ve maravilloso desde esa area muy bien ubicada y todo est a solo 200 metros de playa mamitas y a 100 de la 5 avenida y en las noches siempre visible el guardia de seguridad sinceramente una estancia increible y a un precio muy barato ; gracias a todos por hacer que nuestra estancia fuera placentera nota : les dice todo esto alguien que esta iniciando un negocio de asesorias en vacaciones por la rivera maya y que elijio este apartamento para vacacionar.

"El Lugar" offers an interior that feels luxury and gives a lot of space for a family with two kids.
Also the terrace on top is very nice for BBQ in the evenings. Bbq, wine, a nice view - all you want to end a day on your vacation!
And the location is very good, near to the baech as well as to shopping.restaurants and pubs.
This apartment in Playa Del Carmen has impressed on us and we would return to this place again, as well as we will recommend this place for our friends. -

No imagine que la pasariamos tan bien, fuí con mi esposa, hermano su esposa y mi pequeña sobrina de tan solo 1 año de edad,nos sentimos como reyes ya que el Penthouse es realmente lujoso tal y como se apreciaba en las fotos nos llevamos una agradable sorpresa al disfrutar las comodidades que tiene, pude hacer una carne asada y todos pudimos apreciar un atardecer muy bonito desde el asoleadero,mientras mi cuñada no salio del jacuzzi con la bebe...Bueno puedo recomendar ampliamente el lugar y me gustaría volver pronto.

This amazing and tastefully decorated penthouse truly was the icing on the cake to our us and Mexico trip. Located one minute away from the beach and 30 seconds from some of the best restaurants and shops we've ever seen. Playa del Carmen is a safe and beautiful place, surrounded by the clearest water and whitest sand. The people are friendly, the food and drinks of a very high standard and certainly not something you'd think you'd get in Mexico. Playa del Carmen itself is quite expensive, however Penthouse Vista azul is extremely well priced considering the level of comfort and amount of space you get. We cooked a BBQ on the roof top, sunbaked on the solarium, took a hot tub and made ourselves a home away from home. I highly recommend this penthouse to anyone who wants to travel to Playa del Carmen in style. The staff were so friendly and helped us so much upon arrival! Pure bliss.

this condo is newly renovated/updated. it is spacious, with two bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with two full beds), each with a full attached bath as well as the additional bath on the private upper deck. the condo is extremely well equipped with bedding, linens, kitchen ware, (pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, utensils) and kitchen appliances. there is also an in unit washer and dryer. large flat screen TVs with cable in living area and master bedroom, along with wireless internet. location is excellent. one block off of popular 5th avenue, and two blocks from one of the most favorite beaches. equally important is the accessibility and communications with the owner, eric. he was almost immediately available and answered all inquiries quickly. there is also an on site property manager who can address any problems if you should encounter any. if you have a rental car, the dedicated parking spot directly in front of the condo is a real blessing. booking, billing and check-in were smooth with no surprises or hassles. access to the condo is via combination lock on the front door and your access code is provided prior to your arrival. it's a great system... no keys to lose, anyone in the party can come or go as they wish at any time.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the unit for a month had an amazing time! The main floor was spacious and the kitchen had just been redone so it looked spectacular. Overall the unit was finished very tastefully and modern, but still very comfortable. The bedrooms were large, the beds were comfortable, flat screen Tv's throughout and the bathrooms were equally well finished. The main floor deck was big with great furniture and faced the street which even at night was quiet, we never were disturbed by noise from the street even though we were one block from 5th ave. The upstairs patio was huge and was an oasis!! Hot tub, brand new BBQ, washroom, built in lounges and a garden that lit up at night making it feel like a five star hotel. And to top it all off there is even another sundeck at the very top with sweeping views of the ocean.
The location was also fantastic, literally a three minute walk to the best beaches of Playa, and two great beach clubs, Momitos and Kool. After trying them both we found Kool to have much friendlier staff and just an overall better atmosphere, we really loved spending a day at the beach there. We did have a few very minor issues when we first arrived, but Joe, the onsite manger, was extremely helpful and always available and took care of everything right away. In addition the owner, Eric, was always in touch, very reliable, friendly and genuinely concerned that everything was ok for our stay. We initially were a little concerned about not having a pool in the complex, but with such a fantastic beach so close we did not miss having one at all, nor would we have used it if there was one. The ocean was warm, blue and clear, and a great place to be. I would definitely recommend this unit and Playa Del Carmen for a vacation, but next time we'll bring some friends as there's plenty of room. If you do go, make sure you take a trip to Cozumel for the snorkeling or diving, I have never seen clearer water in my life!!

place to spend some weeks in Playa, just a few steps from the beach , close to 5th avenue, the most popular street.,
You can take the sun and relax in the solarium...the jacuzzi my favorite place and the balcony too

we had so much fun, that next year we will do it again, no doubt!! spend the days walking and tanning along the beach, ate in one of the side restaurants, at nigth enjoy a delicious dinner at home with family, don't forget the sunset and so good seafud.

lätt att betala via PayPal. På plats i lägenheten chef träffa oss
och visade alla praktiska saker som vi ville veta.
- Jag gillar
verkligen jacuzzi på takterrassen och alla möbler var mycket trevligt
och bekvämt i köket hade alla vi behövde.
Det stora sovrummet hade
sitt på LCD-TV och direkt tillgång till den stora
balkongen.
Vardagsrum var perfekt och barnen njöt av LED-TV och blå
ray-spelare för att se det filmer.
Barnen hade ett eget rum med två
stora sängar Jag tror att det var möjligt att sova 4 personer i
rummet.
- Det takvåning var perfekt belägen mycket nära stranden 2
minuter och till 5 aveny 1 minut:)
Vi gillar det här stället en hel
del och kan verkligen rekommendera det.
