We recently spent a week at The Elements. My husband worked hard finding the perfect place to take our family for a vacation and The Elements fit the bill!!! We had two units since there were 9 of us. The El Presindente Penthouse was definitely worth it. The rooftop area was so beautiful, as it looked out over the ocean. The other condo was nice, but we spent most of our indoor time in the Penthouse. The location was perfect! 10 min. walk to town and short walk down the beach to all the action. Damien was so helpful and a pleasure to work with. He helped arrange for a cook to help with meals. Her name is Rosa and she is fantastic!!! She treated us to two meals a day, and her Mexican cooking is amazing. It was helpful and we were able to try some local favorites. A great experience over all. The only problem we had was finding our shuttle driver at the airport. After trying to find our name, we luckily saw it on a clipboard under the drivers arm.
We all highly reccomend The Elements and would definitely stay there again!!! -

We stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas/NewYear and my friend booked from the U S via Bric rental. That side of it was very smooth and they offered transfers to and from Cancun for 3 of us for total $85 each way which was good value and very convenient. The concierge service was a bit flaky after the initial booking in (which was fine and nice touch to give us a free mobile phone for local calls). Even allowing for Christmas holidays, we waited several days for an iron and our bottled water ran out but the minor issue with the boiler was fixed quickly. Also the maid service was patchy but may be better in non Holiday Time. The location was great for us as 40 somethings, the quieter north end of Playa, just off 5th ave at the "Italian" area. We felt very safe at all times even though the streets are quite dark and quiet here. The short walk to the beach was ideal, bit smelly in places but ok at the condo and on the beach. Turn left and you reach Cannibal Royale a very cool beach bar full of beautiful people and lovely food. There's a full time dj mixing great music, not too intrusive. There's a minimum fee of 150 pesos (£7.50/$11) for the bed and brolly each but we had no trouble reaching that with the food and cocktails. Great staff too and toilets too! Back to the condo, great roof top pool, hardly used by others even at peak times. Free wi fi great to have. Huge range of satellite tv though not much uk stuff. Well stocked kitchen and washer and dryer. 2 balconies overlooking patch of jungle and distant view to the sea. Nice marble tiles throughout and separate air con in bedrooms and lounge. Unlimited bottled water supplied. Niggles: fridge old and tired and dripped. Main bathroom tired and needs refurb of bath/shower, expected better at this price. Sheets and towels old, pillows and mattress a bit lumpy. Can be noisy at night, noise carries from condo below and we were unlucky and had some noisy neighbours. Overall a good location and good facilities especially roof top pool.

I spend 1 month at this condo complex. It is the 3th time i rent there throu Bric Vacation Rentals.The Ladys in charge, 2 offices are within walking distance, catered to my every need. I found the Mattress a bit hard and right away the send 2 Maids with a Topper, for every Bed mind you ,and i got a good nights rest.
The Maid service gives a nice break from having to do dishes and cleaning and having a washer/dryer inside the Condo for use is a extra bonus.
You will love the Pool on the rooftop..awsome view, very clean,another fact the whole complex, including all the plants ( no dead leaf in side ) is spotless clean at all times thanks to that wonderfull caretaker. You never see this young man NOT doing nothing.
You love to be soooo closed to the beach< no need to dress just go in your bathing suit>
I like to go back in a heartbeat but have to wait till next year.
I recomend this rental for all Age groups however if you have trouble with stairs make sure you rent the groundfloor. Now go..what are you waiting for??? -

We spent 5 nights in Meridian 204 in Playa del Carmen over Spring Break. This condo was clean, modern and comfortable for 4 of us.
We especially loved having unlimited bottled water & daily maid service. The full kitchen was a luxury that we took full advantage of.
Entrance to condo complex is secured with locked gates and night security guards.
Rooftop pool is glorious and has stunning views. Plus, it was never crowded.
We didn't rent a car, but the condo complex is located very close to beach and 5th Ave. Many wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. We took cabs to Wal-mart to shop for food for our stay.
It was so much better than being crammed into a hotel for the week. We will definitely stay here again.

This is the second year in a row that we have rented this lovely condo. It is in a very quiet location yet still close to the beach and Fifth Ave when you want it. It is very well furnished, very clean and comfortable. The maid service and water delivery is reliable and good. The building is in good repair and appears to be very well run. The condo looks out towards jungle which is great, but the road (and therefore your deck) can get very dusty when it is hot and dry.
A couple of items would make guest stays more comfortable:
1) I like to cook, and the kitchen cooking supplies are minimal. A SHARP set of knives would be great!Also needs a bigger selection of glasses. A BBQ would also be wonderful.
2) Nice chairs on the deck would be nice. The ones currently there are too big for the small deck.
3)Internet connection would be incredibly convenient.
4)A good quality beach umbrella would be very handy, as would a small picnic cooler.
5)The supplies to turn the two twins into a king bed would be really nice for guests who are a couple.
Other than that we have had no serious complaints; we have thoroughly enjoyed #204 and the Meridien and will probably try to rent this unit again.
