What a lovely cottage the crows nest is. It is well equipped and comfortable with spectacular sea/harbour views from the windows. We only had a long weekend but could have stayed weeks. My only criticism would be I thought there would be a toilet in the en-suite shower room. We were two couples away together and it meant one couple using the toilet downstairs rather than disturbing the other couple as the bathroom was right at the other end of the upstairs corridor. I would rather have a toilet than a walk in wardrobe but we managed.

This was a great cottage and beautifully furnished with antiques and character pieces. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the double bedroom had a lovely view over the sea. We had some trouble with the wood burner so if you book it might be worth checking it works but the service from Best of Exmoor was brilliant before and during our stay. Porlock Weir is close to Porlock which has all the shops you need for provisions and we loved how easy it was to get onto Exmoor. If you want peace and quiet and love the countryside it's a great choice.
Beautiful tranditional cottage in an ideal location

If you like traditional beams, huge fire places, space, character, thatch and lovely sea views this is the place for you. We stay in Exmoor regularly and is the nicest cottage we've ever stayed in. If you like modern simplicity it's not for you but if you want charm and a log fire it's a winner all the way.
Best of Exmoor service was excellent as usual as well, so nice to deal with people not a nameless faceless organisation.
Both the cottage and Best of Exmoor are highly recommended.
Beautiful location with stunning views.

Very efficient and friendly service with The Best of Exmoor team. The cottage was a real home from home, with a very well equipped kitchen that had everything we needed to cater for our party of 6. Plenty of room for us to move around without being on top of each other. The Crows Nest is only a stones throw from the small harbour which has a few pubs, eating places and hotels, most of which are dog friendly. Plenty of walks to do without having to use the car all the time. I would recommend this cottage to anyone that likes a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and appreciates stunning scenery.

A lovely, cosy cottage in beautiful surroundings. The cottage was well-equipped and extremely comfortable.
We and the dogs had a superb time.
Meals at The Ship were good, the staff extremely welcoming. We had a fantastic meal at The Cafe. We would have eaten at Millers had the staff been a little more accommodating - we wanted Sunday lunch - we were told we should have booked as chef was very busy!
Porlock Weir and the village of Porlock just charming and the woodland walks from the cottage were great.
The only disappointment was the lack of dog-friendly beaches along the coast.
