Description

Our home is a 5 bedroom, 3 full bath pet friendly house with ample space to sleep 10 people. We are on a half acre lot with parking for 6 cars in the driveway. There is a large 20’x12′ shed with storage for your surfboards and kayaks. It is fully stocked with beach chairs, a beach cart, lawn games, and bikes to ride.

Inside the house, our kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, dishes, glassware, dish towels and more. We have a large dining room table for 10 and a small side table for children. The dining area offers panoramic views of the bay and Assateague Island. There are also sliding doors out to the fenced-in backyard with patio, grill, and hot tub for 6. The large living space has ample seating to view the 65-inch smart TV with HBO and extended cable package. We also have a den suitable for extra TV-watching on the 42-inch smart TV, or for playing video games with any gaming console that you bring. The downstairs also boasts a large bathroom with a huge walk-in shower. Beyond that, down a few stairs, is one of two master bedrooms. This one has its own living space, TV, refrigerator and entrance from the front and exit out to the backyard patio. Upstairs is a master bedroom with TV, walk-in closet, and master bath with walk-in shower. Sliding doors lead out to a large private balcony overlooking the yard with views of the bay and Assateague. If you leave the curtains open at night, you are treated to the sun rising over Assateague right from your bed as you wake in the morning! There are 3 more bedrooms on the second level. One with a queen bed, one with a double bed and one with 2 twin beds. There is also a hall bath with a combo tub and shower, and a door that separates it from the sink area for more convenient use. We provide towels and linens for all bedrooms.

We are looking for vacation renters that will be respectful of our bay area, our residential neighborhood, and our home. We also need renters that will be respectful of the fact that our home is on a septic system. Care of a septic system is very easy but the care must be taken. It mostly means that foreign objects must not be flushed down the toilet and laundry must be kept to one load a day and no bleach can be used.

So, if you would like to vacation minutes from Assateague Island, relax in a hot tub while watching your children or dogs play safely in a fenced-in yard, sit out at night under a sky full of stars, and watch the sunrise over the island in the morning while staying in a fully equipped house then maybe this for you!

Getting around

Outside of household and neighborhood activities you will need to drive to the places you want to see. Most people enjoy using the three beaches of Assateague Island. One of which is pet friendly year round. That is a 5 minute drive. The inlet parking lot at Ocean City is a 15 minute drive. Frontier Town is a 5 minute drive. The town of Berlin is a 10 minute drive.

We welcome families of all ages. We rent to families and extended families. Adult groups over 25 years of age considered on an individual basis. Please contact me for info.

Smoking is only allowed on the downstairs backyard deck. The house and upstairs deck must remain smoke free. Please use provided ashtrays for disposal.

No events will be considered.

Great place to stay. Far enough away for our dogs, but close enough to do everything Ocean City has to offer. We will stay here again in the future.

“Ocean city getaway”
