Getting around

I live next door, so I am usually on hand if needed, but I have made every effort to ensure privacy and prefer to just hand over the keys, unless you are staying long enough to need more logs, or changed bedding, towels etc.

“December mini break”

Reviewed 23 Dec 2022

Had a lovely 2 night break in the cosy cabin. It is very spacious and clean and a great location for visiting the places we wanted to go to. We were conscious of the smart meter and how much electric we used as energy prices are so high and the price of this holiday home was exceptionally reasonable. We loved the cosy lounge with the wood burner on in the evenings. The bedroom warmed up nicely with the electric heater on for a short while, but the bathroom could be a bit chilly. Overall, a lovely place to stay with everything you need there.

Was very sad to leave. But hopefully will be back... fingers crossed...

“A little piece of heaven”

Reviewed 23 Aug 2018

Wanted some quiet time away from our normal hectic lives, and we certainly found it here!! Perfect is the only way to describe it. The cabin was absolutely immaculate, with nice touches of flowers in the bedroom and milk in the fridge. Caroline is an amazing host, there if you need her, but not at all in your face. Pleasure to have met her. And meet her again we shall, as theres no doubt we will be heading back fairly soon. Cannot thank you enough!

“The Cabin”

Reviewed 11 Aug 2018

Had a great break at the cabin, everything you need to relax and put your feet up. Easy access to the wolds and coast, plenty to see and visit, if you’re a aviation enthusiast or fisherman it’s ideally placed. Caroline provided tea, coffee and milk on arrival, the freezer had plenty of ice and a nice fan to cool us down in the tropical heat. The cabin is very clean and tidy and has everything you need, it’s self contained and secure and has a enclosed garden making it ideal if you have a dog. I would recommend the cabin if you’re after a quiet getaway.
