This charming, detached cottage sits 2 miles from the village of Longnor in the Peak District National Park, and with 1 bedroom it can sleep 2 people.Curlew Cottage is a detached, romantic cottage located in a rural setting two miles from the village of Longnor in the Peak District National Park. With one double bedroom, this cottage can sleep two people. The rest of the cottage includes a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawned garden with decking and furniture. Curlew Cottage is a delightful, detached cottage set in a pretty area, with a great selection of traditional villages to explore, and wonderful walking and cycling trails nearby.

Amenities: Electric central heating with electric fire. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, Wifi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Front lawned garden with decking and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 2 miles. Note: Adults and infants only.

Region: The ultimate in "year-round" appeal, the Peak District offers countryside, picturesque villages and magnificent scenery. It touches upon six counties and encloses 555 square miles of open moorland, flowing rivers, and wooded dales.

Town: Situated in beautiful countryside on the Staffordshire Moorlands the charming Peak village of Longnor is located close to both the River Dove and the River Manifold. This tranquil little settlement makes an excellent touring centre and boasts several shops, a post office, tea shop, craft centre and a beautiful church. The market square itself is cobbled and a scale of charges is still posted on a board outside the market hall, adding to the old-world charm of the place. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Spa town of Buxton are all within easy driving distance, as is the attractive market town of Bakewell and the ever popular Alton Towers theme park.
