When I think back to my childhood home, I can say with certainty that my favorite room was the den. It wasn’t a big space, but every inch of it contained the most interesting relics. Books, pictures, family heirlooms and the most comfy furniture were all there to nestle in. With that said, The Den is the perfect name for this ultra comfortable and incredibly convenient two bedroom townhome. Interesting and tasteful décor complimented with antiques will tempt you to relax and retreat inside, but with all of the available onsite amenities and scenery, nature will be calling you to step outside and play. Year-round enjoy easy access to everything Canaan Valley has to offer. Summer visitors will love the outdoor pool, picnic pavilion and volleyball facility. In winter it is a quick drive to the slopes, tube park or ice skating rink. Any time of year, enjoy free WIFI, cable TV and long distance calling. We invite you to visit Canaan and settle into The Den.

“We love The Den”
It's only fair to say this was our 6th visit over 10 years to The Den. Obviously, we love it and love the Canaan Valley. It's hard to imagine a more relaxing, refreshing vacation spot.

“July vacation”
our stay was good, alyough the mornng temperatures two mornings were47 deg and 43 deg. even in july it was chilly but he days were nice.

“Peaceful and beautiful”
Need to update to accommodate iPads. Was listed as wifi connected . Possibly a new cable hook up to router would work.

Response from the manager Thanks so much for your recommendation, and the heads-up regarding the WiFi. We researched this extensively with the internet service provider as well as with Apple, and can report that the system, including modem, router, and cables, accommodates iPads. Users need to make sure the iPad itself is internally set for WiFi. The iPad does not include a port for direct cable connection to a router".
