San Ging sleeps up to 8 in two double rooms, a twin room and a bunk room. There is a large family bathroom and an ensuite shower room, plus a further toilet. The living areas are spacious with the lounge overlooking Bassenthwaite lake and the sunroom making a further quiet place to relax. The dining kitchen provides an ideal place to get together to eat. Bed linen is provided and towels may be hired for a small charge.

Getting around

Keswick town centre is approx. 20mins walk. The no 555 bus stops on the main road at the end of the cul-de-sac where the house is located.

Interaction with guest

The cottage has a wealth of local information including maps and walking routes and access to a local digital guide. Free Wifi allows guests to look up current events eg cinema show times, and activities plus essentials such as mountain weather forecasts. Guests can contact me with questions at any time via phone, text or email. Living locally I am on hand to answer questions or sort out any problems.

The house is situated on a hill on the edge of town and enjoys the spectacular sunsets and ever changing views. As you mention, there are plenty of taxis, or buses to take guests back up the hill if walking is back from town is not really suitable. Thank you for clarifying this for future guests.
