Description

Spacious 3600 sq ft log cabin/home located on 3.2 secluded acres with abundant wildlife to enjoy. Beautiful mountain views with Skyland Drive and Shenandoah National Park within view. Walking trails leading into Shenandoah National Park and The Appalachian Trail nearby. Fifteen minutes to Skyland Drive and ten minutes to Luray Caverns. New Market Battlefield museum nearby. Northern Virginia and Washington, DC about ninety minutes away. Many area attractions for outdoor adventure. Cabin/home has 2 bedrooms with the third area an additional large loft area for sleeping and 2 1/2 baths. Sleeps 10 total, considering some of the ten are children.Fireplace shown is for decorative purposes only and is not operational. Four flat screen televisions with over 150 satellite delivered channels to enjoy. Three of the four tv's have built-in DVD players. Free WiFi for internet access. Five decks to enjoy the great outdoors, weather permitting, and varied wildlife.

Response from the owner We're very sorry for the experience this guest felt they encountered. The guest was advised to check out the listing description and photos before booking. The description and photos fully explain and show the home's layout and sleeping arrangements. The driveway is partially paved and yes some of the damage is caused by too much pressure on the gas petal. The signs are not meant to be offensive, only informative. The windows did have screens in the beginning but far too often, both summer and winter, we would enter the home after check-out to find windows left open and either the furnace or a/c going full throttle. The guest is right about one thing, the noisy beds. We did not realize how noisy they were until we tried them out ourselves. All noisy beds have been replaced with both new mattresses and foundations. We advise all our potential guests to review the listing, both text and photos, to be sure the home meets their requirements in layout and sleeping arrangements, as we did this guest. Please look before you book. It is not our desire to mislead anyone or misrepresent the home. We feel we have done everything possible to accurately describe the home in both text and photos.
