Please allow me to welcome our Friends to our Newest (May,2011), Largest, and most Comfortable Retreat thus far to grace our Beautiful River’s edge. I am pleased and honored to introduce you to …..the “castle colucci.” Born upon the banks of our quiet Ohio River, lavished with our Love and attention to detail, we have hand crafted our Most Lovely Jewell for you, our Friends and Family. Accept our invitation to slow down and spend time with those most dear to you. Relax…Enjoy! Four large bedrooms with King and Queen beds, along with Sleeper sofas in the Great room and game room will comfortably relax your crew. The oversized dining room table will hold your feasts as well as your board games. The game room down stairs will test your table skills. Two more bedrooms, two more full bathrooms, the game room walks out to your covered porch, where the River scene is ALWAYS breathtaking, whether it’s boats, wildlife, or another GORGEOUS Sunrise! Your clean and private Hot Tub is just this side of our comfy rocking chairs. The “Castle Colucci” is our crowning jewel, our finest cabin that has almost everything. All we need is you.

That is really the biggest difference between reserving with an uncaring Management company miles away, or with us, the Builders & Owners of our cabins, just 5 minutes down the road from your cabin for anything you may need during your stay. We get your comment often on how Lovely & Quiet our River traffic is, even on major Holidays. Being 'Right in the middle of Nowhere' has a special appeal for allowing you the RELAXATION that you came here for. Being one of the least populated counties of Indiana is a real advantage of living in the Hoosier National Forest, surrounded by Peace, Beauty, & Wildlife that we all enjoy! Response from the owner We are very fortunate to receive many motorcycle groups at our cabins, and all have become extended Family who return every year. We have ridden motorcycles since 16 years old, & currently ride a Harley Davidson Road King at 63 years young. These guests seemed just as nice as always, an elderly couple and four young guests who prided themselves on being a little 'wilder'. Our two large flat screen TV's share a common remote, which these guests found 'Unacceptable'. Upon leaving, our large ($875.00) TV over the pool table had been broken by trying to wrench it off the wall brackets, BENDING the screws holding the wall bracket, actually flexing & breaking the TV. I was unavailable during June due to open heart surgery, the time of this dispute. The elderly couple called & bullied my office manager into returning the damage deposit by saying they would write a harmful review if the money was not returned. She did, & they did. During recovery I knew none of this. I would not have returned their damage deposit, as someone in their group obviously broke the TV. We wish them Happy Trails. Bud & Michelle.

How do damage deposits work?
