Description

All Saints Cottage is hidden away at the end of a no through lane within the beautiful garden of a 19th century converted church in the Vale of Pewsey, Wiltshire.

This secluded single storey cottage is an ideal base for walking, exploring Wiltshire or simply relaxing. All Saints Cottage offers you spacious, comfortable accommodation with double height ceilings and French doors opening onto its own private garden, adjoining a bluebell wood. Free WiFi is available.

There is so much to do and see with regard to country pursuits and archaeological and prehistorical sites such as Silbury Hill, Avebury and Stonehenge. The cottage is located on the Sustrans National Cycle Route 4 and is close to canal towpaths and quiet country lanes to local pubs and villages. Nearby towns and cities include Marlborough, Devizes, Hungerford, Salisbury, Newbury, Bath and slightly further afield are Winchester and Oxford.

And if you are interested in historical houses or areas of natural beauty then you can visit Wilton House, Heale House, Longleat House and Safari Park, the New Forest, Savernake Forest, Stourhead or the National Trust village of Lacock. Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, with its headquarters in Devizes, has over 30 nature reserves of great diversity and interest across the county; many are within easy reach.

When you turn off the country lane into the driveway to The Old Church (where the owners live) and All Saints Cottage you will pass the Victorian church and pond on your right, proceeding to your own parking area in front of the cottage.

The glazed front door leads into a hall area and then to a large L-shaped open plan living area. This comprises fitted kitchen, dining area and spacious sitting room with two double French doors opening onto the garden. A corridor off the sitting room leads to the bathroom (with bath and separate shower cubicle) and the double bedroom. This self-contained cottage accommodates two people.

If Mrs (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
