Getting around

If you have a car, you could go to a lot of nearby charming local restaurants with that fabulous Caribbean flare at half the cost of the resort restaurants (La Parilla is my favorite), plus there are also some great laid back beachfront bars (Boardriders is my favorite). There are also many of great nearby day trips that you can do on your own if you have a car vs. paying an expensive hotel tour. For example, you have the El Yunque Forest trails that lead to spectacular waterfalls (currently open are la Mina Falls and Angelito Trail), the bioluminescent lagoon walking trip through Las Cabezas de San Juan, the $6.00 roundtrip ferry to Flamenco Beach

How do damage deposits work?
