Description

Unwind in your own safe and quiet hacienda style apartment home, right in the center of Tulum village, only 3 miles from the beautiful beaches of Tulum. Walk to the main street, cook your own food and dine on the large balcony. Enjoy your cozy, bright & clean space on the second floor of a private house.

The apartment has one air conditioned bedroom with a double bed and one single size bed. Ideal for 2 people but sleeps easily 3.

The fully tiled, big bathroom has a spacious shower with hot & cold water. We provide towels as well as beach towels.

The living room is well furnished with two love seats. It is airy, bright and comfortable with access to the balcony. Sitting on the spacious balcony in the early morning or at night, you can watch the stars and listen to the birds singing.

The kitchen is fully equipped for basic cooking, including a coffee maker and free drinking water and a small dining area.

You'll have full-time power, air conditioned bedroom and ceiling fans in every room. The glass windows have metal protection bars and are sealed with mosquito net. There is free wireless internet access.

Tulum is a charming art craft town with street vendors, small exhibitions, lots of different restaurants with national and international cuisine. There are long strips of white public beach where you can bring your snack and enjoy the day, or get in to any little cabana on the beach and stay in their facilities as long as you consume something to eat or drink.

Coming from Cancun, at the second traffic light take a left. Fourth street down take a left. La casa de Ambar & Balam is on the corner, there is a white metal door, just knock on it and we will meet you there.

Getting around

Tulum has a beautiful, well-known archaeological site that is open daily from 8 am to 5 pm. It is only 45 min to the Coba archaeological site, where you can rent a bicycle and enjoy a day. You can't miss Chitchen Itza, only 2 hours away, it is voted to be one of the seven wonders in the world. The Sian Kaan Biosphere is part of Tulum, where you can visit the mangroves and do bird and crocodile watching. Visit any of the many cenotes (sink holes) in the area, or do some scuba diving in the sea or in caverns. From Cancun Airport it takes about 1.5 hours to get to us. We recommend you to rent a car at the airport and drive down to Tulum. By Shuttle: Runs every 30 minutes and costs $30 US dollars (runs from 9 am to 12 pm). Please confirm this o
